Bought these a several weeks back , great value bulbs , heat added

Ordered and heat added, thanks.

Thankyou ordered a few different ones too :))

Cracking find! Looked at bulbs today in Wilkos - £1.58 for 2 - hot hot hot8)

Great deal but SMD's last forever longer so I'd stick to them such as: ebayitem.com/290…374

Are these suitable for Renault Clio?

Cheap bulbs? No thanks. Had one as a quick fix in my sidelight. It melted & destroyed the headlight insert, £120 to replace.

Sounds like a fair exchange...

If you've got a Mk 3 Mondeo you can 'upgrade' it by just plugging a couple of these into the footwell. There a couple of sockets all ready and powered up for the higher spec models but no bulbs in place. honestjohn.co.uk/for…949

That's very strange as there's nothing about this bulb that could melt. However, it's possible that it could make poor contact with the socket, generating heat in the wrong place and potentially melting the plastic that holds the contacts in the socket. But there's so little to go wrong that even that seems unlikely.
