Why is this cold? Seems good?
hotukdeals.com/dea…415

why don't people check before posting?

This is a smoking hot deal.
I get 50mb's per second through EE mobile data.
I get 1.5 MB's per second on land line and can't get bloody cable.

Best alternative is £30 for 25 GB EE mobile data.... People that don't understand or don't live in the back of beyond are voting cold.
LOL at includes tethering - would be a paperweight otherwise.

you can get 50GB for £30.00 over 12 months with 1 month free, so £27.50 a month or 00.55p a GB
If you want to know the best always on modem let me know, cheers

Also, I am surprised this deal is cold, thanks OP anyhow. I just hope EE start offering more GB in 2016 i.e. £25.00 per month for 100GB over 12 months sim free
(I do know about the Christmas sim offer).

Hi
You need to phone and negotiate with them.
I phoned once and was told it wasn't available (South Welsh call centre I think) absolutely no way could they do 50GB for £30.00

Phoned back 10 minutes later and got the deal (this I think was a Newcastle call centre).

try 0800 956 6000
or 0800 956 6083
please ask for 'retentions'
hope this helps, feel free to ask more questions.

cheers
nb
I was on a months notice contract (not a 12 month contract) & had paid for 11 months, sim only no modem.

I hope you can get 100GB for £30.00 as it should be really.

deany that sounds like a plan.

I have the 100 gb per month until the end of Feb on the £10 for two months taster deal.

So at least I have a Sim/phone number to quote.

I agree that the deal should be 100gb for £30 and I would happily pay that.

I hear all the problems with people not getting optical / cable or decent landline optimal speeds with the government posturing and all they have to do is find one mobile phone company with 4 g in their area buy a mobile friendly modem (which I bought for £115).

The government should force the mobile phone operators to discount for poor landline broadband areas and they would then hit their targets of 10m/b's per second by 2020.

Technically I don't require a land line anymore and could save £17 per month.

In reality why are telecom companies putting in place the infrastructure of cable when 4g + is as fast or faster without the additional cost ?

Cheers for the information,

Cuthy

Hi

The £30 100GB that we are hoping for maybe a while yet.

I would recommend getting a friend(s) or relative(s) to order a couple more sims on your behalf (I would aim for seven as some aren't sent out for some odd reason) and follow piggy999 STOP PACK to keep you going till late July/August as you rely on double speed 4g as I do (my alternative is dialup!).

I really dont think this is 'greedy', you cant get decent broadband and EE will never loose out. The goverment promised to help the likes of us years ago (if you count the upgrade to double speed 4g I guess it has happened)
I feel sorry for the folks too far from a mast and exchange, satellite latency can be poor & very expensive

Glad you get such good speed. Mine was up to 51mb but has dropped to 25mb recently. based on speedtest.net & on the field test on iphone *3001#12345#* (-102db)
The important 20 Mhz in 'serving cell info' double speed isn't showing at present. Hoping their just working on the network. I have noticed zero signal EE in our nearest town 4 miles away so something is happening.

cheers

Deany

I couldn't find the post from piggy999 but re reading through the last EE deal I think I understand what you are suggesting.

I have ordered two more sims as I have run out of my email addresses. lol. (I can get my daughter to order another couple later different address and Emails)

I already have one sim which I plan to activate next week which takes me through to the end of Feb.

SO let me see if I have this right.

need to top up these new sims. £10 each

Ensure that the mobile data is switched off on the phone that I use (deffo don't want to use my router to do this)

Text StopPack first. to 150
Then Text the Christmas activation code

Wait for the confirmation.

The data should then stay activated for up to 180 days and the two months only start when I start using the data.

If I have this all messed up please let me know.

Cheers

Cuthy.
