sorted byCard-carrying member of the benefits demonising propoganda brigade. What utter **** you speak.
...and these are very much in the minority, because they're either fiddling by working on the side, or supplementing their income through other, usually illegal means. I live on the edge of a council estate and while I have a decent job and enjoy a comfortable standard of living, I'm surrounded by people on all sides that struggle to make ends meet with benefits.
Yes, some of them are career layabouts that think the World owes them a living, but others have just fallen on hard times and want to work, but can't find jobs. They get sanctioned for the slightest things and are then left to beg from food banks or turn to family & friends just to feed their kids. I'm tired of hearing all this inflammatory crap bandied about by the media and the biased ill-informed. The reality of life having to rely on state handouts is far removed from the sensationalist rubbish you see on the likes of "Benefits Street",
Save your ire for the more deserving, like the MP's flipping their homes, expenses for everything and fat cat jobs as Directors etc in the companies they take bungs off, waiting for them after a short non-career in Politics. Or the bankers. Or the multi-national corporations that have 10th dan black belts in tax dodging.
For £200 it's a brilliant 50" TV, the saying 'you get what you pay for' isn't all negative. Chin up though Pavel, there was no need for you to be a daily fail anti benefit sponsor. I mean, some people are sick and can only afford something like this but you for some reason, had to insult people. wtg man.
What a snob.
Go spend your money on full price Samsung's at Tesco and get away from HUKD. You're like vermin.
Well said! I see some of the abject poverty some people live in. But of course, if you are thick and read the daily mail you will believe all those that are out of work are able to buy the best of everything and use food banks as a lifestyle choice. Bit pathetic demonising the poorest.
Cretins
Damn, then i'm only worth about 8 quid
Comment
think you somewhat underestimate the power of benefits most have the latest 4k tvs from the pay £5 p/w for all the latest tech and furniture(edited)
Yes, because this deal starts when the majority are working in the UK.
That's why Black Friday is BS in this country, it's a holiday for most people in the USA,they get the day to shop as it follows thanks giving.
Something we don't celebrate here in the UK
Greedy greedy retailers
Well said - I'm no supporter of those that set out to milk the benefits systems, however I am of the opinion that a lot of the press that plays up benefit fraud is simply trying to divert attention away from the real villains - these being the Bankers that absolutely screwed up the entire country while continuing to line there own pockets! I doubt that a dedicated army of Benefit Scroungers doing their worst for a year could do 1% of the damage to the country which the Bankers have done? - Anyway (gets off his high horse) a 50 inch telly for this price is a cracking deal IMHO.
ummm I'm confused I came to look for a bargain and all I see is deep dark cruelty about people on benefits lets get 1 thing straight my partner was in the army and long distance lorry that was until him and my 5year old were hit by a women in b.m.w it was a fatal accident he spent many months in all different hospitals and my son I had no choice to get help off benefits as it was a struggle at the time with traveling 2c both then to rush home for my other children how do u know if any off these people once worked then bought all their goods but got laid off just saying don't label all the same brush......

At least the Vestel brand ISIS has been dropped.
Exactly, there is charity coffee shop near me( pay what you want with funds going towards serving food for homeless, vulnerable people - like thay saying). There is also convenience store beside... and I see those people going for free food every evening and than grabbing few cans of strong lager at store - ease, trouble free life !
PS. I have to wake up every morning before 6 o'clock, go to work if I want to have my bills paid and have some food in the fridge... sad
If you've got all the money in the world to buy curved Samsung ***** you've been told his the connoisseur's choice, why are you on a site dedicated to finding bargains? Your bed of 50s need a little fluffing?
*Obviously not ****

Don't you mean the working poor will be fighting over them too, P.M David Cameron's new class of poor = ironic isn't it

If you really open your brain it's not like you can buy any other type of tv now is it? Or can anybody tell me were I can buy a Crt TV?
Anyway great deal for the money and hope some people get to enjoy it
I'm waking up every morning morning, going to work to pay my bills etc, never any benefits or tax credits... I'm simply sick of people who never had dirty hands because of hard job they doing but keep a can of strong lager every with big smile on the face !... with all respect to hard working class - I didn't want to insult anybody with my previous comment, thats all.
And: "Made in Turkey" -- for a cheapo TV that's a good thing as it means it's a Vestel -- so at least parts are readily available.
I do wonder how much longer Vestel will remain viable though -- if ISIS expands any further Turkey might not be the easiest place to trade from.
