Make: DEFENDER SECURITY
Part No.- DF00066 -

Bought these for my daughter who needed some Locker Padlocks for University.
Think they are great for medium /light use, especially for lockers in public institutions.

For changing rooms at work or sports, dont have to worry about losing locker keys as it's a combo lock.
Plus as it's a dial lock, other people can't see your combination when it is open, like they can do with barrel locks.

Great value at 88p each - when other places charge a Fiver or more for just 1.
If you only want 1 or 2, the best place to find other bargains to make up the min order is by clicking on
"Bargain Corner" under the "Special Offer" button.
But be warned, the bargains here may make you spend more because many are too irresistable.

So you are saying that there is not a small order charge - Just that an order under £5+vat would be rejected - This would explain why I could not find a delivery charge !

yes.... here is the blurb

Restricted Card Payments

As a consequence of rising postal prices, some of our low-priced items are now just too cost-prohibitive
to dispatch on their own.
To maintain our amazing FREE delivery offer, we are unable to accept credit/debit card orders below £5 (ex VAT).

i have got few of them last year for cheap, but I still wasted my money because these locks are not good at all.

sorry to hear you are disappointed with the ones you had. I on the other hand have been very impressed with the ones I bought which is the reason I posted. Not only are they a bargain price but they are more secure than combo barrel locks. Have used dozens of barrel combination locks and not found one I cannot open by just by "feel". These dial locks do not give any "feel" feedback and you cannot hear when the tumblers are aligned either. When I first got them I could not stop playing with them for weeks but never cracked them. If ever I forget the combination I will have to get the bolt croppers out - not so with a barrel lock. Plus when open they do not advertise their combination. Would only recommend for indoor use mind, as the mechanism is more intricate than a barrel lock and if left out in the direct rain the internals could eventually rust and seize up.

My two have this type of lock for their school lockers, theirs are by Master Lock and seem ok for the purpose, not sure if these will be of the same quality though.

And I imagine a £1 bolt cutter wouldn't cancel out the saving on this item

would* [damn ios8]

If you have difficulty remembering combination numbers, or are often in a hurry, you could add one of these:cpc.farnell.com/dra…970
Just cut one off the pack, insert in the gap between shackle and body and slide around and, job done - in far, far less time than the boring usual way of opening these locks. Plus you can snap them shut again, once you've finished, so no harm done.

Can you provide a link to bolt cutters for a pound because I'd like some. Or did you literally imagine them?

Just tried it and took a few minutes to open it. Not as quick as the bolt cutters but as you say, no damage done. Thinking back, I may have done it quicker if I ran oil down the shaft first - would have been easier to slide around the shackle.
Nice tip - I have loads of spare unused feeler gauges, so I now have an a new use for them - EMERGENCY KEYS

Piece of junk. Seriously, don't bother.

I ordered Something on the 20th and my deliver still hasn't arrived. i think cpc clanged there delivery service.

Best of luck when you can't open it.

I bought 2 of these and wish I hadn't. I could pull my locks open with very little strength. So much so that they were nothing more than a visual deterrent.

IF you need to find items to top your order up I am impressed with the solar light they stock, code LP07393 only 77p each if you order 3 and they use a rechargeable AAA battery (included)
