Seems a decent deal for something to have round the house for DIY Who makes them, haven't a clue. Lidl's own brand Powerfix tools do have a decent rep though.
Available from Thursday 15th, along with a Jig-saw, and toolbox, and an engraver model tool (pay for all of them seperatly of course !)

Lidl tools are generally very good for the money, been using some for years. I tend to replace tools I use all the time with better brands but these are much better than the cheap rubbish you usually get at this price point IMO.
Read on one site a feller saying it's "Yato" tools that make them. Boxes and ratchet do look a little similar.

I do the same. German preferably or Japanese or other European (British tools have been closed down by both Tories AND Labour)

You can get political over anything. And should.
Your kind of approach - by most, it has to be said - has contributed to Britain losing most of it's manufacturing.

Cold vote not enough ? Had to display your stupidity ?
Just looking at the other stuff up for grabs, quite interested in the engraver. Decent price again. Won't be as good as the Dremmel, but it'd do. 3M tape too for £1.99.
Seems the Powerfix tools get good reviews.

I have the dremel style one (looks heavier, no base unit but has a flexible extension shaft), very good for the money. Tempted by the bench grinder/sander myself.

Theres a few things I'd like to buy myself. Have to reign it back ! But dremmel thing is very tempting. I'll get the socket set - I DID buy a Draper one, but I hd to cancel due to ridiculous wait they told me to accept. This one'll do

Bull. You'll have voted cold, then this morning you would have been quite possibly buying one.
Its what mouthy hypocrites do, as most of the cold voters will be doing too

Back to less tiresome, tedious subjects - bought one, and am very impressed by the quality.

I can't guarantee the Aldi one, but can say I wasn't impressed at one I saw couple of years ago. Quite possibly dramatically improved.
Like Lidl's have in last couple of years.
Only speak as you find. Lidl's are surprisingly high quality.
As have been every other tool I've bought from Lidl.
Aldi's too have done the job
If one is better than the other I don't know. I haven't experience of both
Nor have you

Well it was a toss up between John Lewis and Fenwick's for the Snap on set. Felt JL had a better warranty and aftersales service.

You need to speak to customer service with 3 pay slips or bank statements. What they're looking for is a substantial amount of money from earnings or savings. Usually around the 100k mark. When they are satisfied you are capable of buying the expensive items. You get a platinum or gold card which has secret offers and savings that have significant offers for the SPECIAL items for SPECIAL people! Give it a try bud.

My payslips tend to be just over the 30,000 mark or so.
Of course, my weekly stands no chance against an imaginary one......X)
