Original Poster

It is per person
I have been watching this price Over the last 8 days and it had been £800+ pp
Late Last night it went down to £505pp
And today it's £521
might be able to get slightly a better price if you call direct to virgin as I did

Also Virgin Media customers can get 5% off

Be careful because this is NOT based in Dubai. Yes, its lovely but a couple of hours drive from Dubai.

Original Poster

Yes 1 hour & half hour from the city
There are Free shuttles that go a few times a weeks from the hotel.
I agree great place & price for a couple for a family that needs bonding

Decent price, even if it is outside of dubai.

Not quite Dubai, but still a good price.

You'll pay that for just the ticket. good deal

yeah, Ras al- Khaimah is a different Emirate from Dubai.

It will be boiling hot in June unless you want to stay indoors for 2 weeks

HOT FOR THE PRICE !!! BUT THIS IS NOT DUBAI !!!!!

Just £17 more to fly from Manchester. However its a B&B deal and Im guessing that its pricey for food and drinks given that if you upgrade to All Inclusive the price goes up to £1327 pp.

Original Poster

I did mention its a hour & 45 mins away from the city with free shuttles
If you'd like t stay closer to city & palm etc
Cheapest is £2.000 per person
£4.000 in total

Dubai in June?

It will be like living in an oven..... make sure the aircon is up to the task! Can't help but feel that you'll be like a virtual prisoner inside a complex, until the evening cools a little.... but then it will be humid-city!

Good price all the same, though!

then we had a couple of nights in Dubai. Agree June might be a bit warm but thats what the pool is for.... and cold beer. Good price heat added.

O2 Greenwich and Harrow for example, are about 1.5 hours away from each other. Both are in London.

Dubai taxis (or petrol if hiring) are cheap, much cheaper than paying extra to stay closer to the city.

Fantastic price

14 nights in dubai???

What the hell would you do there for 14 days.... 3 i thought was plenty.

(Good price thou if you have family out there etc)

Went here a couple of years ago. Nice resort but not much to do around there. They have a regular bus service to Dubai (about an hour from memory). We went in February great weather, I would give June a miss though unless you want to sizzle! As the other poster said this is not Dubai!!

which you should take as there is nowhere else really to eat around there. Food id great though

May sound a bit silly but can you drink alcohol over there?

This is a scorching deal - that price is good for one week in Dubai let alone two!

:Edit: Ohh - just seen that it's not actually Dubai, scorching only in the temperature out there...

yes, only in hotels though. can't buy in supermarkets.
stock up at the duty free on way over.

Been living here for 3 years now - its hot at the moment (about 40deg average day) June is much the same except the humidity will be high and laying out in the sun can be pretty unbearable.
You can drink on the holiday visa you automatically get, so no problem. All hotels have bars decked out to look like pubs so its easy to get alcohol - in fact, theres not much else to do!

Thanks. That suggests Alcohol will be very expensive then.

or curiously you can buy at Dubai airport on arrival really cheap e.g. I bought Bombay Saphire for £10 a litre

Mad if you do this - you will not be able to sit outside - it will be 50 degrees!!

It's only abit of heat and almost every mall & centres are state of the art A/C

I have stayed here, its a nice hotel, but VERY NOT Dubai. its 1.5 to 2 hrs from Dubai, depending on traffic. Please remember Ramadan starts on 18 June, and they are very strict in RAK, unlike the holiday spots in Dubai. If the bars open at all, 8pm will be the earliest, and all eateries are curtained or blocked off while the sun is up. Also smoking and chewing of gum, drinking water etc in public is a criminal offence while the sun is up.Just be warned folk. Taking all into consideration it is a very very cheap deal.

It is an unbelievable price, and you do have 10 days till Ramadan starts, but as already mentioned, it is very very hot and humid and there is Nothing to do in RAK, apart from a few shopping malls.
