I forgotten how many times this offer has been posted on here.

It is expensive toilet paper for what it is.

If you need 3 ply, you have a hand on bum force issue.
If you divide the extra £4 to get 'proper' stuff for a few less rolls (45) you're looking at these Nicki Tracing Paper Sheets at 18.5p per roll (not factoring in how thick the rolls are - or the size of the tubing), but compare that to 32.5p - you're looking at 14p per roll more to go from FarmFoods to Waitrose... Ifyaknowwhatimsaying

Just seems a no brainer - as im not sure who else is like us, but a roll lasts a good for days, so considering its purpose and the risk that @robin5858 clearly pointed out above (we all know what he means), who'd risk that for 14p per roll

Note to self. Find better things to do during the day than sit around talking about bog roll economics.
Still the best quality & value.

No there not. I can get 4 x 9 packs of Waitrose Essential for £9 at the moment.
240 sheets per roll instead of Nicky's 170. But same area size per pack compared ( never go by price per roll ). But easier to store.

Essentials is very soft and strong.

So at £2.25 a pack it seems to be a better bargain to me than £3.33.

But youre getting 54 rolls.... instead of 36 from Waitrose in your offer.... (which Im seeing at 2 for £6)
Plus this is three ply, not two... so you use less.

You don't. It's one of those "don't knock it until you try it" things. Parents in law always used to use premium brands including Waitrose as she shopped there a lot. She asked what ours was and changed to it. I always used to think hers was poorer than ours and noticed 2-3 brands what would be considered to be "the best" in her house over time. All very thin if soft. Nicky is soft and very strong and has a large following, of people who like good quality for value for money price.

Because you buy 2 packs for £6, then you use MyWaitrose card's Pick Your Own offers to get another £1.50 off, hence £4.50 / 2 = £2.25.

Evidently you've read the webpage but don't know much about the 20% off part.

But your Nicky rolls only have 170 sheets per roll. Waitrose ones have 240. But you should never go by number of rolls but total area which is actually the same. You are paying alot for air, so the roll can fit the standard dispenser.

Also the roll is actually thicker than some other T rolls for example Sainsburys standard roll which I find are very thin.

So people know, I did try Nicky once. Found it overrated.

look at my reply to RoosterNo1.

You need to know how to work Waitrose's system to your advantage.

Tried Nicky. Found it to be overated. Basically it's thick paper for people who hate to wipe thier backsides.

But I can buy the same total area for over £1.08 less from Waitrose and it's good paper. Even I was surprised when I first brought it after trying Sainsburys and Aldi T rolls

Clearly you have too much time on your hands and should maybe put your time to better use. One suggestion would be for you to try something before you slate it because you clearly haven't got a clue what you're talking about ("tracing paper"!)

You obviously didnt read the latest comment when posting - as literally the last thing said was someone concurring with my evaluation.

If you *dont* think this stuff is merely neatly packaged cheap toilet tissue... Then I worry for your bums and their upbringing for they have obviously never been gently caressed by anything layered with luxury.

Having used all the brands you describe as "luxury" i.e. waitrose, Andrex, Kleenex Velvet etc I can say my bum was not 'caressed' any better by them than it is by this. They did caress my pockets though and relieved me of considerably more money, hence why this happy bum will be sticking to this
