5% on 2400? Well, that sweet £120 will definitely make up for rent going up by 20-30% and mortgages being unaffordable.

Bit of a hassle with the postal application but worth it to drip feed from Santander esaver. Obviously 1year regular saver not as good as an account where you can lob in a lump sum straight away, but if you’re willing to open the regular savers around that are paying around 5%, the amount being paid each month into them each month is still pretty significant.
