I stayed at the Luxor in Vegas when my sister got married. Wasn't too much to shout about

Heat added for the TV though
Should say what brand it is in the title
The LG 7400 for extra £60 worth it imo? Isn't this only a 50hz panel?
I'd go for the 4K JVC Fire TV for this kind of money. Considering it's JVC which I usually wouldn't recommend these FIreTV models are superb.

Use code Product5 to get it for £331

50/60hz. Same as the LG. Vestel report the UK TV standard (50hz/100hz), whereas LG report the US standard (60hz/120hz).

Both TV's are capable of 60hz though.

JVC and Luxor are made by the same manufacturer, Vestel. The software on the Fire TV is better though.

The panels are the same yes but as you've said the software is far superior as is the remote. Plus the built in tv DVR function with an external hard drive is as slick as a Humax. I bought one for our play room but I'd be happy with one for our Lounge too. Plus I prefer the stand on the JVC but of course that's personal opinion.

These TV's can't do 100hz or 120hz native?

That isn't what I meant. I meant that Vestel report either 50hz or 100hz as a maximum depending on the model, as they report the PAL standard. LG report 60hz or 120hz as a maximum depending on the model, as they report the NTSC standard.

This particular model is 50/60.
