This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

This Linsar 55UHD520 TV bargain and Roku Streaming Stick bundle provides smart TV on a bigger screen for less.

Enjoy more detail, with 4K UHD
With four times the resolution of Full 1080p HD, 4K (UHD) TV offers stunning detail and resolution for totally life-like realism. You can now get a huge range of content in UHD 4K, including UHD Blu-ray and gaming, TV and streaming services such as Netflix 4K. Another advantage with this higher resolution TV is that, because the pixels are smaller than FHD TVs, you can sit closer to the TV before you lose definition – making a larger screen possible in a smaller room.

Big screen value
Priced closer to 43 – 49 inch TVs, this 55 inch Linsar TV is a big-screen bargain. A bigger screen helps draw you into the action, making it ideal for action movies and big sports events alike.

Make it smart with Roku
Supplied with a Roku streaming stick, this big-value TV becomes smart. The Roku stick plugs into one of the TV’s HDMI sockets and, with its supplied remote control, gives you access to a wide range of smart TV content, including streaming TV services.

Catch up TV and the best streaming services
The Roku features a wide range of TV catch-up services. These include the BBC iPlayer, ALL 4, ITV Hub and Demand 5. A range of premium video streaming services are also available, including Netflix, NOW TV and Amazon Video.

Powerful wi-fi
With wi-fi built-in, the Roku streaming stick wirelessly connects to your wi-fi router. Thanks to its 4x boost in range it easily pick up wi-fi signals where others may fail.

Enhanced remote
Featuring an upgraded remote control, the Streaming Stick + can control the power and volume on this TV. This means that you’ll only need to use a single remote to control your TV during everyday TV watching.

Control via your smartphone or tablet
For even smarter control, download the free Roku app to your smartphone or tablet. As well as controlling the player, you get extra features including private listening and cast to TV. Connect headphones to your smartphone or tablet and you can listen in private. See photos, video and music stored on your device on the big screen by casting to the TV.

Fully connected for sources, old and new
Featuring three HDMI sockets, you’ll still have two spare once the Roku is connected. These are perfect for a set-top box and Blu-ray player or games console. Twin USBs sockets are provided for media devices. You’ll also find a SCART socket, which is perfect for connecting older devices and much harder to find on many current TVs.

PVR USB
One of the USB sockets lets you connect a USB memory stick to use as a PVR. PVR stands for Personal Video Recorder and lets you record TV programmes via the set's Electronic Programme Guide. It can also pause live TV - just like a subscription based set-top box.

Get big TV, the smarter way, with the Linsar 55UHD520.

Also available at Amazon at the same price amazon.co.uk/dp/…1V5

LCD TV's sold as 50hz in the UK are actually also 60hz. It's just that most UK TV broadcasts are PAL (25fps), so they still report the Hz as 50.

100hz TV's are also 120hz.

Built-in functionality ages and expires. I have a ten-year-old TV with built-in functionality, guess how much use that is now.

You always want separate functionality. Not now, perhaps, but eventually.
Almost paid £350 for a techwood tv on eBay yesterday, glad I waited. Thanks for posting, just bought one 😁

Highly recommend the warranty as well , had to use it right at the end of the 6 years , no quibble , genuine parts and fixed at my home as over 32 inch TV .
Absolute bargain with the warranty.

Yes it's not a fancy branded high end TV that will be of interest to those who want/need more from a TV... but this will suffice for plenty I'm sure. With the peace of mind of a 6 year warranty on it. Hot.
Only thing putting me off is that I would be using it for PC display & would prefer 60hz. Looks good value otherwise.

Edit: Further down the comments, someone who bought this TV has confirmed the 60hz (as many people suggested it would be) - I have now ordered it to replace the 15 year old Toshiba I currently have. By the time the 6 year warranty is up, it will have payed for itself as it has half the power consumption.

I have the 65' version of this TV(£400 on JW price match) and it's very good for the money.

The picture out of the box is heavily red shifted and will need to be adjusted ASAP as it's borderline unwatchable. Once you adjust it, the picture pretty decent.

The speaker are also bad and was forced to invest in a good soundbar but doubt you'll do better at this price point.

The one on Amazon says it has 2 HDMI ports, whereas the richer sounds one says 3 :/ . Not sure if it's an error or a different TV?

Pretty much every TV can run at 60hz these days, even if it's advertised as 50hz.

I'm not sure if it's still the case but Linsar used to use Vestel for their manufacturing so it should be comparable or slightly better in quality to the UMC-made Blaupunkt-branded TVs.

I purchased the £400 65 inch on the JL price match too.

Have you got any white lines on the screen when the screen is completely black?

I had light bleed in bottom right corner. Contacted RS who exchanged it without quibble.
Can't argue with this. Massive decent telly for 300 squid. I'm sure plenty will say oh this Sony, LG, Samsung etc is better but they'll all be twice, thrice the price or even more.

I agree. I have a 7 year old Panny plasma which need it.

However, as there is another similar budget tv doing the rounds this weekend which has the Amazon, Netflix etc. buttons on the one remote control, I was asking what this one had.

There are some slight whitish sections when the screen is completely black but it's not noticeable during regular viewing.
Bargain, had to buy one. Little bit of Quidco too.

Thanks, I thought I had a faulty one and was thinking of asking JL to swap it, but after what you said it must be the norm on these.
How many inches are the feet apart? Just realised after buying that my TV stand probably isn't big enough.

from the spec - it looks like 49 inches, from the outer edge of leg to leg.
I ordered one of these on Friday and they honoured the TV15 voucher brining it down to £284(should be tv's between 300 and 500)

Sure it’s not an ace brand, but that’s a lot of features for your money
Company I work for got two of these for system and database monitoring and they are really good
Does anyone have a good grasp of how this would compare to the Philips 58PUS6203/12 ?

It won’t be 55” as 55” is the diagonal dimension. It’ll be closer to 48-50” but that’s just an estimated guess.
Saw one of these today and it’s pretty good for the money. Feet are approx 112cm apart
Got one of these in the last deal from RGB, it is really great. 3 hdmi, 4k, mounted in the wall it looks sweet. Speakers are not great but for this price you can invest in a soundbar and still be laughing
