3219900.jpg- Dive in to your favourite classics with enhanced picture quality

- Ambilight brings a bit of the cinema to your living room

- Smart TV offers a wealth of catch-up TV and streaming

- DTS HD Sound lets you hear all the action clearly

Dive in to your favourite classics

The Philips 55PUS6703/12 55" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV uses 4K Ultra HD technology to deliver stunning picture quality up to four times the resolution of conventional Full HD. Additionally, Ultra Resolution Upscaling technology improves the quality of the image on the screen regardless of the original content. This means you can rewatch your favourite oldies as if they were just released today.

HDR Plus technology broadens the colour range in your TV and enhances the details of the picture, so whether it's forest greens or ocean blues, you can get the most out of those breath-taking BBC nature documentaries.

Ambilight

Set the mood with the Philips 55PUS6703 TV's intelligent Ambilight feature. LED lights are placed around the edge of the TV to offer you a fully-immersive experience. The colours on the screen expand outside of the TV to make it look bigger, so that you can feel like you're in the cinema while you're relaxing at home.

Smart TV

Saphi Smart TV gives you complete freedom while choosing what you want to watch. Enjoy streaming your favourite movies and box sets through Netflix and Amazon Prime.

Freeview Play lets you catch-up on your favourite shows that you missed last week straight from the TV guide. All for no extra cost.

DTS HD Sound

Enjoy crystal-clear sound thanks to DTS HD Sound. This technology preserves the original sound content so you can hear your favourite action sequences like you're right there on set.

Effortless installation

For setup without the squabbles, our Team Knowhow experts can connect your new TV to your Blu-ray player, sound bar, and other devices. They'll even get you online so you can put your feet up and start watching straight away. Pass the popcorn.

Thank you @Gollywood
My god that’s a bargain
I wish I could justify this set over my existing one but even though its 3 years old this is only 50 nits brighter..... I know the 1080p to 4k upgrade would be nice but feels like I'd be going sideways. TV shopping is the worst
Have it for last 2 years. Love the ambilight. Smart not so smart. Browser is a cancer. Remote not a Bluetooth you need to aim. First year there was a huge problem with updates. Next tv Samsung.
Does anyone know what this is like for gaming? Lag etc.

When I goto ebay for this item ... it shows this ...

£449.00
Was* £499.00
save £50.00 (10% OFF*)

the 10% has been applied twice?
Just gone for this, don’t really know why as usually Philips stuff in my experience breaks just after the warranty runs out.

according to Philips this has a 2 year warranty.

also used quidco which is showing 24% off everything at eBay plus 1% cashback, this must be a mistake, But I’ve taken screenshots

I occasionally get vertical screen tare when watching content from my PC. Any ideas?
I bought the 55 inch version to replace a 1080p Panasonic 48as640, The HD picture quality is nowhere near as good as the 5 year old panasonic , I’ve set the settings to those published on AVforums
