This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

***Update*** - Possible cashback on top of QLED models up to £500 - No guarantees as they state in T&Cs not available with other promotions - BUT they are advertising it alongside the promotional price - so worth a punt.

Samsung are offering 25% off all of their TVs sold direct from their site when entering through the Student Beans app. Clearly most of these TVs are out of price range for typical students, but some may want to club together for the ultimate Fifa party, or simply help dear old mum and dad to buy the perfect family TV for a discounted price

Also checked and Blue Light Card holders are eligible for the same discount, so NHS, fire service, police, armed forces etc...

I haven't researched any of these TVs, so not expecting all of them to be technologically brilliant, but I did sample a few prices and they seem to come in lower than retailers, even when factoring in Samsung's cashback.

Looks like you can pay on Paypal credit, if you don't have the readies before the offer expires on 14th of August!

Yes it is, op worth putting another £200 off price as it should be cash back eligible
How do you get the other discounts if your not a student?

Yes all prices are after discount against their own RRP, which isn't necessarily what other retailers are selling for.

Example...

55 Q60R is £913 from Amazon, £949 to £999 from other major retailers, but coming in at £711 from Samsung direct through the student or blue light portals.

65 Q80R is coming in at £2,069 at most major retailers, you can get it under £1,800 from some smaller independents, direct from Samsung £1,724.

Some deals are better than others naturally, so it's up to you to pick which TV you've been eyeing up and then see if it's available elsewhere cheaper. On the face of it, this looks good to me.

Now whether you can also swing their cash back offer on the QLED range is another question, terms say not to be combined with other promotions, but if you don't ask you don't get

Yeah not sure about this, wouldn't want to guarantee it, but if I bought I would surely put a claim in
Also available through employee rewards. I think it includes more models, as the 55" Q90R discount is also included in that.

You find a student, or someone who works for the police, NHS, fire service or armed forces.

Before the 14th of August, though on the Blue Light Card portal it says 16th of August - or until stocks last I guess, sure they will have ring fenced a certain level of stock to supply this offer.

Excellent

There was a 32" model and frame also included, but didn't think there would be much interest in these.

They are advertising this on the same page with that price though, so a bit naughty if they are not going to honour it
Also this price if you have access to Samsung discount through an employee discount scheme. So not just for those who are students, emergency services, or armed forces. Just checked

The only one I wanted was the 67R but takes me straight to curry’s website

Might be a limited run just for them, only difference between it and the Q60 is the colour, with the 67 being silver rather than grey/black.

£999 from Currys is a bit steep compared to £711 direct from Samsung (albeit a different colour).
just so you know, there is a Q60R in 43 inch for £599.25
Standard warranty, eg no five year etc?

I believe it’s 5 years standard on all QLED TVs.

Though you are right I couldn’t find it through BLC app. There when going through the web browser on a computer though. It’s listed as 3rd or 4th point in the same table that displays cash back. Mobile app probably just displays top 2 lines only.

Was a UHD tv I was after just for the bedroom. £100 cheaper than Richer Sounds but theirs comes with a 6yr warranty and no mention of any on Samsung

I have been looking at a new tv for a few weeks and have access to the Samsung EPP site. On the ‘normal’ Samsung site it says 5yr free warranty but the EPP doesn’t say anything. If you click on the warranty section it only says 1yr on TVs. So I have taken it as although the TV might be cheaper you are losing out on the warranty. I still need to decide myself if it is worth the gamble.

They do but they don't suffer from it
We've been looking at these through an employee discount scheme. We don't want to spend too much so are leaning towards the 43" RU7410. We've currently got a v old TV so this will be a big upgrade regardless, but just wondering a couple of things
1. Is there any difference other than colour, between this and the RU7400?
2. Is it worth the upgrade to the 43 or 49" Q60R? Aware it's a budget QLED so not sure how much better it is than the RU7410?

Cheers!

I read some reviews of the Q60, I get the impression it's a token gesture QLED. The back light is edge lit, so lower peak brightness and maybe uniformity issues. If you're buying with HDR in mind step up to the Q70.

Not read anything on the 7400/7410 but if it's comparable to the 6400 from 2 years ago it will a capable TV for most uses making the most of Samsung's software, apps and connectivity.

To answer your second question, I doubt it's a worthwhile upgrade. Your best bet would be to see them side by side, maybe Currys, John Lewis or Richer Sounds.
The Q67 looked really good in Curry’s and it’s ment to be pretty much the same as q60
Anyone know if this comes with a 5 year warranty for sure? And received the cash back offer?

It's tempting if both are definitely included, otherwise might as well a Q80R at Richer Sounds.
Hi i ordered the q8 on the day this deal went live, just wanted to let u guys know i have recieved confirmation off my £200 cashback today so my 55 q8 will cost me £1074 with 24 months intrest free

That’s really good. Seen this deal copied multiple time... didn’t get the heat it deserved in my opinion.

Suspect I didn’t sell it in the best way.
I think people were just being cautious...u gotta be in it to win it....as soon as the 200 is in my account...gonna confirm the 5 year warrenty there advertising for the 2019 models on there site.
Has anyone got the 5 year warranty with there purchase?
Ok, looks like Samsung have updated its website, when I go to purchase a tv there is now a option to add the free 5 years warranty with the TVs, hope this helps some people
