Price online is 599.99 same as Argos, if you purchase using a 12 month free credit account and enter code: MCDV3 you get £100 off.
Anyone used a very credit account before and got any feedback on this?
Cheers

Theres lots of reviews on very out there. Some people no problem at all, some people waiting months to have the credit applied to their account, others half the credit applied but then later removed and charged the extra money for no apparent reason.

Its just a case whether its worth the risk

Thanks for commenting, been holding off for black Friday but this is cheapest I have seen this Tv will read a few reviews then decide whether it's worth it.
Cheers

It is a bit disingenuous quoting the price as £499 as it isn't 100% that you will get it for this price. Loads of people have been messed around with Very. It is more like cash back, nice if you get it bit don't bank on it.

The Trustpilot reviews have to be some of worst I've seen... uk.trustpilot.com/rev….uk

There seems to be a code for items over £300 of £30 with not the usual knocked of basket price but..

Quote code LXJLJ at the checkout when you place an order of £300 or more for £30 back.

Codes can be used once from 02.11.2017 at 9am until 9am 08.11.17. Exclusions: Sale, Financial Services products, service charges and other promotional offers.

We will charge the full order value then apply the credit back to your account or to your card if you paid that way.

I would consider this TV until I saw the poor screen uniformity.

Overexposed pictures show uniformity issues on every TV.

It's tough to judge a TV by a photo of a picture found on the net isn't it.
With practically all brands you can get unlucky with panels, bleeding, banding etc

Philips panels normally ok, if you get a bad one you can always return it, however personally i would avoid Very like the plague.

You'd be well within your rights to return a panel with such a glaring panel issue.
There's surely some degree of quality control so it must have occurred during transit (Distributor/consumer).

I personally wouldn't risk it with very, but if this drops below this price on black Friday, how does it stack up with similarly priced TVs?

I bought this TV from Argos a few months ago. Picture quality is good, plays 4k content well. However, TV software is full of bugs! It crashes from time to time and you can't just turn power and on to get it going every time. Sometimes you have to pull the plug out for a minute.
The most recent update to software cannot be applied now too as it errors after 5 mins of trying to apply. Have now raised a ticket with Philips support.
Sound quality is not that great either so I had to buy a soundbar.

Even the Apps are limited on SmartTV.

Thanks for your input, that's good to know. I hope they sort those issues.

I have used very for deals like this for years. Never once had a problem. Bought all sorts of items and always received the cash back. Can clear the balance whenever you want so you don't need to wait until the end of the BNPL period, if you so wish.

If the update won't run it sounds like you may have a fault on your set, a memory fault or something similar.

been using very for years never had any problems on buy it over 3 months or buy it over 12 months only had positive experiences with them to be honest

had a few of these very cashback deals never had a problem, you get the cashback into your account after checkout usually so no waiting

seems to be pretty bad for gaming which is a deal breaker for me

The input lag is VERY high for this TV, even in game mode. I had bought this partly to play PC games (with controller) when not using it as a TV. The lag makes this all but impossible for most games, even in game mode.
