Interesting it has DLED and not edge lighting, why doesn’t my 900 quid LG have that!
I’m sure it suffers in other areas such as software though.
Anyone have this TV and can comment?

From what I read dled is actually cheaper than edge lit, only becomes relevant if using local dimming, which have no idea if this has that

I was assuming local dimming! It would be strange not to locally dim if you have leds all over the panel but I guess anything to save a buck
Mine will be delivered Wednesday, will let you know what it's like

My Philips 6000 ambilight is dled without local dimming hence the comment
Very cheap. This one has a VA panel so blacks should be pretty good. The smart features and interface are usable (it's Vestel Smart hub), with the most popular catch-up services and internet apps.

It will probably fall down a bit on motion.
My hearts in my mouth when my two youngest play in the living room with a 55” tv ... But I would love bigger lol! Sounds like a great buy.
why is this so cheap?

Are you messaging from the future..?

He said he was getting it delivered on Wednesday, which is today.
Hey everyone,
Just plugged it in today and watched a few minutes of blue planet.
It's absolutely stunning quality!
A massive upgrade over my old 1080p.
Software is running fast at opening apps like Netflix.
Very happy with my purchase.
Its not a slim TV though, I kinda expected it for the price but it's something to factor in.
I have mine wall mounted and the screen is about 4-5 inches from the wall.

I'm very tempted to go for it. In the process of finding out if we're getting a mortgage or not so I'm not sure it's something I can justify right now! :/
Will give one of these a shot, live 5mins from the East Midlands Depot and its available for collection today, so will let you know later on what its like.
Well picked it up and very impressed, is a Vestel Unit and does have direct LED with Microdimming

Remote is light and cheap but for the price its a cracker

I live in a poor Digital Reception area, and this set has got better reception of Digital TV than anything I have had before

Tempted to get another for the bedroom

EDIT : When setting up Amazon Alexa on it the Setup reports it as a Toshiba which makes sense.

App Wise it also has its own Electriq Branded app on the Play store for scheduling Recordings etc.

This seems to be the Toshiba TV its a debadged version of
