It's a Vestel home-brand unit, branded as Medion. It's the same as the 58" 4K Hitachi sold at Argos, just with different styling. It might be worth looking at customer reviews for that one.

It will be an ok TV for the price. The 58" panel is VA, so black levels should be pretty good, viewing angles won't be perfect, and it also won't have any motion processing, so not great for sports or fast moving action.

Thanks, you've just reminded me I don't live too far from an Argos clearance outlet. Might be worth a look.
Are these any good for gaming on?
Medion is owned by Lenovo, I have seen their computers available in other stores and they have their own website but I do not know what their agreement is with Aldi about the brand usage.
I have had Medion tv products before ,good value at that price point. Am going to order one of the current offerings. Good guarantee with them.
Far cheaper in Ireland for some reason (Not delivered though, just to store)

Any sort of motion processing looks terrible anyway. So that's not really a downside.

On cheaper TV's it can help overcome judder, motion blur and ghosting, if set to a low setting. It's better to have the option and turn it off than not to have a choice IMO.
Just for reference this is exactrly the same set as has been sold under the Toshiba and Electriq branding.

Link to the discussion on the Electriq Branded version here, which was £299 at Appliances Direct a couple of weeks ago, seems to be £320ish now, Still a good 58" TV for the price

Anyone who purchased this set what are your thoughts after a couple of week's?

Is it worth going for this over the Toshiba for the extra warranty?

Will a sky q / firestick remote work got the volume on this?

Also if anyone could post the model number that would be great.

Thanks
