Bought the blue fiesta style+ yesterday after shopping around and it looks like they got the red one left. It beats the Parker guide price and other ford garages by £700.I've bought three newish cars from car dealerships in the last five year and have had some pants service but at cumbo they couldn't be more helpful

Where did you bring it?

Hang on.

So a car dealer has let you have a car at below book price - AND THATS A DEAL??

Am I missing something here?

I know what your saying rizla but like it says in the post, the cheapest price apart from this was £700 more at another ford dealership, so I think its a good deal.

The place is in stoke on trent if that is what your asking spats

No wonder, its a Ford.. not much worth these days.

Stoke damn(I'm in reading, berkshire), I'm in need of a new car since last week had an accident and the insurance has decided to write it off due to the repair cost being more than the car is worth(repair shop is saying little under £2k for repairs and the insurer's engineer is saying the car is worth £1k due to the existing damage(I.e not caused by the crash) on the car, tried getting £1500 out of him but he said no but agreed to £1300).

what's the milage on the car and does it have remote central locking?

sorry about the typo, I have corrected it now. The mileage of mine was just over 8000, Yeah it has the remote central locking and a few other mod cons as its not the basic model and I think they do deliver. At least you managed to get the extra £300 out of them:D

Ordered 4 of them. Many thanks.

Glass's price guide Excellent condition:
£6530

Average condition:
£6140

Below average condition:
£5490

Does that allow for the mileage to be set to 8,00? also only one owner, is that the private price and the car I got looks like new, so definitely excellent condition

Is it full HD?

Similar price at Motorpoint, though with higher mileage. Fiesta diesels are £7,700. Just shows how ridiculously overpriced the rrp is.

I personally don't deal with motorpoint since I have had a bad experience with them and the reviews of them on the net is not good. Anyway, I hope this has helped a few people out. I think its a great deal and from a great dealership (which as you most know, there arent many around). Also notice their ford service prices seem very good

Don’t rely too heavily on guide prices. The various guides disagree with each other and frequently they’re all wrong. They are not even consistent, so you can’t for example, take the Glass’s Guide prices and apply a 15% discount to them.

parkers aren't not any sort of accurate guide the real world guides are ebay final prices and autotrader.

glad you are happy with your deal: carloskev
