This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Got an email with this on, seems like a pretty good deal if you get 5g on 3 in your area. If you just get 4g, its £19 and you get apple TV. Both u limited data and includes the hub.

The 5G hub remains property of Three and will need to be returned at the end of the contract.

    Interesting thought.

If your TV signal is coming via Three.

Then do you need a TV licence if you can't watch TV?

It’s the same rules as always - if you watch any live programmes on tv channels or anything (live or on demand) on iPlayer then you need a license.

If you only ever watch things on demand (so nothing live from a normal tv channel) and nothing on iPlayer then no you don’t need one. Getting a signal via data sim rather than tv tuner makes no difference.

Yes absolutely. It's pretty solid. Occasional buffering issues, sometimes connection might drop but it will revert to 4G.

I'm pretty surprised myself but the speeds are insane for a wireless router.

I think the point was that if it was coming from three you wouldnt be able to watch anything, at all?

What difference would it make using Three for broadband vs any other provider? If your watching something that needs a proper tv signal then it’s irrelevant what provider you have as your tv will still need a signal via aerial (not data via broadband).

If watching something via catchup (Netflix, Amazon Prime etc) then again it doesn’t really matter which provider as data is data and the tv, tablet etc would simply need a WiFi/cable connection to whichever router you have.

When I was with Three I sometimes use to hit speeds of over 100MB/s in city centres.

But guess what? As soon as I went home I couldn't even get 1MB/s.

The TV is not really FREE its built into the price. The real deal is 5G at £22 a month which was advertised a month or so back. I believe this will settle at about £20 with the 5G router. So effectively the TV is £9 x 24, so over £200.

When you complain, they say its marketing ploy! I had the LG 43", however, after 3 weeks of my signing a 24M contract, Just the 5G router and the service were being sold for £22. I wish I'd known about that and gone for that.

The 5G service is hardly there where we are, but I prefer the 4G as its a lt more stable and a lot better than Fixed line (As we dont have access to fixed line fibre).

I think in our area they are having a few teething problems with the 5G, as its generally not available, however when it is, its highly unstable and keeps dropping every 10-30s. I wish there was a way of leaving the router in 4G mode, but Three being Three, they disabled the functionality in the software to do this.

We got it with a 43” LG 4K tv, turned up after about 60 days as promised. Sold the TV same day for £350 so worked out £14.41 a month for 24 months of 5G broadband. We use it at home as our only internet and can stream and game just fine.

Plus if we want we can take it on holiday and have broadband (signal allowing)

The TV is likely to be a pile of junk. Toshiba no longer make any good televisions.

They've been having teething problems for years now dude.

Of course the TV isn't free. If the TV was free then anybody could go and collect a free TV.

My TV arrived about 2 weeks days after my first bill. Ordered 26th July, First bill was on the 21st Aug, TV delivered 6th September.

Not sure about the lock, I was of the opinion that Three Devices have been unlocked for a while now.

The TV thing was shambolic. Took way too long to get it. Seems like the supplier is at fault for this part of the deal.

I tried it then obviously cancelled as it was unusable.

    Good man, good man.

I had unlimited everything with line rental credit for 6 months, and on going and I still told them to stick it.

I'm happy for those that live in the hotspot, but it's because of those people you and me can't use it.

we've had this for three weeks now and it's been shocking. constantly dropping out. rarely a connection across the house. tech said they're aware that the 5g mast in my area has some issues and will need time to investigate. kindly offered 50% off of next months bill. don't think I'll be sticking around long enough for that.
