I would take this but vodafone customer services is shocking

Aren't they all?

Can you please be a little more specific about the horrible customer …Can you please be a little more specific about the horrible customer service..?..just left three for that very reason and Im very tempted to get this deal.

I left three because their network is simply broken... less than 0.5mbps in major cities like Leeds, Manchester Liverpool & London
qwertqaz9419/02/2020 16:12

How hard would it be to change to this when I'm already on Vodafone?

It’s quite simple assuming you are at end of current Vodafone contract. Just buy any PAYG sim(non voda), port your existing number to that, cancel existing voda contract, take this new voda contract out, port number back to voda
kaizhu7919/02/2020 15:59

Exactly. Leaving one provider to go to another purely on the basis of customer service is a waste of time. They're basically all as good/bad as each other

I'd say that's a decent price with auto-cashback.

Shame Vodafone doesn't have the best signal in my area

Thank you! Just wondering if there's such a thing as an 'internal' PAC of sorts?

Is there a 30 day wait before you can port out again?
Customer services is shocking.....as said above....
How can they charge you for 5G data when its not even available in all areas yet? The service is patchy to say the least... Where we live, Currently its non existent and if you click the "Planned" check box, its the same. Does that mean that they dont plan to roll it out to our area? Yet they are happy to take money off us today!

See my comments above.....if you're with Three, then just complain via their app and request a credit to be applied to your account, and do it every month if you have to
Yes am currently free this month they are shocking 2mbps round here where Voxi is 60mbps .

Didn't know about the app, but nah, dealing with them in person, trying to sort out the recent deals posted here, was deliberately like talking to a brick wall...data connection wasn't great either near the end of my contract, at some point thought my phone was broken...

Thanks, but I'm not with them atm anyway. But as I said, I don't like dealing with someone I don't trust. I prefer to pay a little more and have a decent service. If more people do the same maybe it'll make them improve their cs.

I’ve recently joined Vodafone but have to say their customer service has been fantastic on both live chat and calling them

Only pay monthly Vodafone Red contracts that have at least 5GB data allowance, will get 5G at no extra cost, as long as they have a 5G phone.
Three are amazing at this, I currently sit at £35 a month and £92 credit in my account with an iPhone 11 Pro 256gb

They started at £59 a month with free AirPods, now down to £35

I’m paying less than the phone it’s worth by a long shot

But the network is terrible, unusable in many areas, fast in others, but major cities are terrible

People are obsessed with cs there must be decent people working at each provider .
Cashback

''We will automatically send you the advertised cashback amount within 38 working days of receipt of your phone. There is no need to claim!''

If this SIM only, why does it state 'receipt of your phone'
Can anyone clarify, thanks
Does anyone know if you can still claim the cashback if you port a different number to the contract?
So after 1 year, the line rental will go up to £30 I take it.
I’m with voda now last month of contract and to port out and port in etc is just zzzzzzz
Good deal though heat
It's £30 anyway

They are very good in sending auto cash back cheques.

The above is just a typo.

How do you mean?
F9T20/02/2020 01:43

How do you mean?

"If you’re not sure whether you’re still in contract with your provider and if you would have to pay charges to end your contract early, you can text ‘INFO’ to 85075 to find this out without requesting a switching code.

If you want to switch and keep your existing phone number, text ‘PAC’ to 65075 to begin the process.

Your current provider will reply by text within a minute. They will send you your PAC, which will be valid for 30 days.

You then give the PAC to your new provider and they must arrange for the switch to be completed within one working day."

So essentially, you can switch out and back in, without even talking to any human being! PAC to a PAYG SIM, and go back to the new Vodafone SIM keeping your original number.

Yes you can. Just mention the number you intend to keep, while you place the order.

Once your new SIM arrives, use your new number to set up everything with Vodafone first.

Once you are happy with everything, including signal quality, and you know you don't want to cancel, go ahead and place your PAC request with Vodafone.

Once your porting is complete, and you got your old number into the new SIM, login to My Account of mobiles.co.uk, and update your number.

This way the cash back claim will have the same number as the bill.

I pay £35 a month now, I would never pay £59 a month

Correction it was £57 originally, but I was always going to send it back within 14 days, they initially put it down to £45 when I threatened this

I found out yesterday that the unlimited data contracts are capped at either 2MBS or 10MBS depending on your plan. Wish this had been explained to me before I took my contract out
