I was with EE. Moved to Plusnet as they were cheaper and didn't notice any change in my 4G connection. Excellent.

This would go well with the iPhone 8+ deal from Very. £640 for the phone plus 24months x £10 = £880, saving £200+over same term compared to the likes of mobiles.co.uk etc.

Got this deal last time around. Was previously with Vodafone and I've not noticed any difference in the 4G, but initially did have an issue with voice calls dropping and bad quality. It's been fine recently however so I've not ditched them yet ;-) On the plus side if you move and hate it it's only 30 day contract

What network do they use and are the network customers prioritised over the plusnet customers?

Already had this for a few months? this is a bit of a non deal.

They use the EE network @TheOak

I’m currently on this deal and have to choose between 3G data and receiving calls or 4g data and all calls go to answerphone! Been waiting 2 weeks for them to fix it!!!

Had up to 40mbps with them, generally ranges from 20 to 30 in our area. We have been with them for about 6 months our third try after issues about a year ago, they have been excellent and if if wasn’t for the recent amazing Virgin deals we would still have been with them.

It changes all if the time, and depends on who they sell it through hence my earlier question, as it seems the site have had a few exclusive deals recently.

My contract has just run out with three, If I changed to this, could I port my number and do I have notify I'm moving to plusnet?

Be careful....you have to make sure yourself you don't go over the data limit. It's not like a standard EE sim which stops you using data when your allowance is used. Plusnet 'Smart cap' will auto let you go over and charge you £1.50 per day for every day that you use data above your allowance (the £1.50 is for upto 200MB per day), upto your smartcap limit (auto-set to £10 above your monthly bill......so for this sim you could potentially pay £20 pm). You HAVE TO have smartcap.... and you are not permitted to lower it any lower than £2 above your monthly bill amount.

I didn't want ANY increase over my monthly bill & was told £2 is the lowest cap they can do.

They are supposed to send you a text, which they do.....but it's usually too late by that time to turn your data completely off on your phone to try to avoid going over. It's normally already happened

I gave 30Days notice & left

Anyone wanting this deal.....(and I think it is a good deal as I had it a couple of months ago but wasn't aware of this stupid smartcap thing).....then the first thing you should do is lower your cap to £2. You can do this by the online chat section on their website

You just need to ask 3 for your PAC, give it to Plusnet and they'll do the port.

i've recently switched to plus net mobile, no issues with the network or 4G speeds, however i live in the city so this is probably why.

Only thing i don't like is that they don't support call forwarding to another mobile, which i think also rules out using apps like hullomail... not a massive deal breaker, more an inconvenience

thanks op!

don't forget quidco!

If you are using over 5 GB a month you'll soon learn not to.

I get this for 7.50:)

Just get PAC code do not use words "cancel" to three as you'll never get your number back.

That was a few weeks ago on here, 5Gb and unlimted minutes unlimited texts for £4 or 40Gb 5000 minutes think it was and unlimited texts for £10. Don’t think it will ever be worth leaving, only wish I had got our son the £10 deal rather than just our daughter he could have grown into it :

It's ok just found it. Was only for 1500 mins. So not enough for me. Haven't a landline so unlimited mins is what I need

Keep enjoying. Very speedy network:D ... Often wonder if their slowed down by EE in comparison though? I mean they play off EE but do EE slow them down? As they only play of EE infustructur

been with virgin and plusnet for about a year and never had any issues with speeds normally between 20 and 30 mbps and had up to 40 as well. for our needs its perfect, and even better they have roll over data, we started my daughters the day before the end of the month so she has 60Gb never going to use it or she better not

PlusNet is actually a BT company which owns EE

Signed up to a similar deal last month with 1500 minutes / unlimted texts and 5GB data for £10. Very pleased so far!.

Hot from me!

I dont think this is a great deal. I'm moving from plusnet as the reception is atrocious in my part of London. I suppose its the fault of the EE network they use.
