Ain't showing on the website??
Do they have an app or Wi-Fi calling when there is no signal
Click on the link at the bottom rather than the Get Deal button. Shows as 13 days left to get the deal.
I found this on the MSE website, you may have to link in through there to get it!
What is their Smart Cap? Can't find anything about on their site.

When you've signed up you can set a cap (ie £5, £10) and if you go over your minutes, textx or data you can never be charged more extra than the cap - i've never gone over so don't know what happens if you try...
Nice find £5 cheaper than my current GiffGaff SIM! Will GiffGaff price match?

You’re having a laugh? Lol. I’ve just left a GiffGaff after 5 years because they refuse to offer decent amounts of data for these kind of prices.

No
If you ring them up or live chat tell them about it and they will put you on that plan they are as good as gold

I have the 2gb one and they don't have an app coverage in my house is poor
Does anyone know if there is a maximum call length for any one call, ie on most home line call plans it a maximum of 60 minutes & then they start charging you.
On mse website it says NEW plusnet. Have any exisiting plusnet mobile been able to switch?

Highly likely yes but you need to try
I got emailed about this as an existing broadband customer, slightly different link though, not MSE, same prices... also an existing mobile customer so rang them and switched. Got the email today. Just in case this helps someone.
Is it truth?
Plusnet do not suport short code text numbers. For those who do not know about short code text numbers your NHS, Energy company. Goverment , banks.etc. all use this system when contacting you and you cannot reply back to the text as plusnet have blocked replying to short code text numbers.
This is quite brilliant! HOT!!

Part of the reason I left Life/Plusnet was whenever I got a fraud warning from my bank, I couldn't reply to confirm anything as it was a short code. Only happened 2-3 times over a year, but bloody annoying.

Anyway, when did 5GB for £10 become a good deal? I'm currently on Virgin on a 20GB rolling (and rollover) month contract for £15. More data than I need, but seems stupid to drop down to 5GB for only a fiver less.

5Gb for £10 on a 30 day contract is a good deal as its available for everyone, unlike your Virgin one.

I meant in general. Not dissing this particular deal in general, just the phone market. I'd expect Unlimited Texts/1000-5000 mins/10GB for about £10.
Thanks for this

When you take out a plan you tell them what cap you want in place if you say £5 then if you exceed your calling plan your bill will not exceed £5 if you go over, the lowest you can take it out is £2 I think

We had to phone an 0844 number and they credited account to make sure we stayed within the cap! was a nice surprise. Although an expense £10 call

GiffGaff is garbage. Yeah they're cheap but the 4G is a lie.
If only they didn't use EE!! Been on Vodafone, Orange which became EE, now O2 and EE were by far the worst of them, customer service wise and signal etc.

I've been with EE most of my life even when they were called one2one years ago and I never had a major issue actually I had more discounts. And this depends on customer to customer and you will know that everybody complains about everything. Recently I moved to Virgin Mobile on a special deal and I was happy to move with them because they use EE's network.
EE's got the best network coverage unfortunately maybe not where you live or travel and this is the case with all networks.
FFS why dont these people just paste these so called "deals" in the original POST. you dont get paid for posting.
I'm with Tesco mobile, and although this deal is better, I fear that they will ramp the price up every year, whereas Tesco have not done that since I've been with them , 6 years , so for that reason I'm out !

Yes I agree but you can always negotiate with retention team like what I've done recently. My monthly plan is £15 before the price rise I spoke to them and got further discount of £2. July came and the price increased by 77p and now I am paying £13.77 monthly.
You need to speak to the right person and it is trial and error.

Believe the minimum cap is £2 from memory. How does this compare with other suppliers? I know you can't cap on Virgin, which is why we're leaving.

Bizarre. You are on a money saving site and stay with a company who are charging you too much compared to the competition because the competition 'may' increase the price at some stage in the future? Oookkaayy. You are the reason so many foreign companies can't wait to get their hands on UK companies lol. SIM Only deals are getting cheaper not more expensive....plus this is a 30 DAY CONTRACT so they will be wary of increasing the price given the fact customers can exit penalty-free within 30 days.

It's only a 30 day rolling contract! If they ramp up the price then you look elsewhere.
I've had this deal for ages and honestly can't fault Plusnet. The call centre are Uk based if you have any trouble. I cap mine at a £1 so you never get any nasty surprises and they even warn you when you're getting close to using up your allowances.
