Seemed like a really good deal to me, £110 less than most sim free prices, and you're getting a good chunk of data with a £165 outlay and £26 per month, all for one of the top 2 cameras on a smartphone currently.

Save an extra possible £40 by going through topcashback
topcashback.co.uk/mob…es/
3252504.jpgusing the code in the op may invalidate the £40 topcashback, so you csn choose which you want to do.

You could go through voucher codes using the code ~VC10OFF~ to get £10 off the upfront cost, and a £40 Currys voucher

3252504.jpgFeaturing an eye-catching design, the Huawei P30 Pro showcases a range of ambient colours with a beautiful gradient effect. Crafted from double-sided glass, the handset boasts a sleek, curved design that both looks premium and is a pleasure to hold.

To the front of the device is 6.47-inch OLED display, which is perfect for watching your favourite blockbuster movies, playing graphics-heavy games, or viewing incredibly detailed photos taken with the P30 Pro’s next-generation camera.

Cheers, though this phone will still be supported, so still a safe buy imo (if you're not bothered about regular updates)

From recent reports will be getting android Q. Once it gets that major update will be fine for a while
My current contract is up soon, and I want a P30 Pro, but with the Google issue hanging over them I'm reluctant to take it up.

Best price I've seen for this so far, so heat. Just shame that 5GB of data will be swallowed up quickly.

Wouldn't let it worry you. Huawei are such a massive company, it doesn't make sense for the US to continue the trade war long term. Plus, Huawei and Google have already confirmed that currently released handsets won't be affected by the restrictions.

Brilliant. This is all old news now I believe. It will be forgotten about soon enough. I'm more than happy with Huawei.

Yeah, 5GB would suit some (me included) but I know some people are data monsters

Hope so..
Thought vodaphone are doing double data currently or is that only on specific deals?

Interesting read. I will continue to use Huawei and will get the P30 Pro when my contract ends later this year. Used them for the last 7 years and will continue to use them.
Super super super tempted. Didn't realise how good this phone was, mainly because I've been targeting buying one rather than contract.

So now it's Mi 8 Pro to buy vs View 20 to buy vs Galaxy S9/S10 on contract vs this.
Looks a good deal but seems to be £175 upfront now?

Add the code for a tenner off
Using the code will likely cause the £40 cashback to not be paid so best to go through that. Tempted to part with my Mate 10 Pro for this...

EDIT: Trade in sites say less than £70 for my Mate 10 Pro even in great condition but they sell for £200+ which must be one of the largest mark ups I have seen!? Private sale Ebay price is around £150

that's if they release the android q before the 90days are up if not you wont get it
Wonder if Vodafone has improved in my area...once took out a 12 month contract (before the days of signal checker promises) only to find the second I walked through my front door I lost all signal. Could literally hold it out the door it worked, bring it in and total black spot. Had one of their signal boosters but that was hit and miss too.

Was great when work changed to Vodafone though, I had to let them get me another spare phone and sim on a different provider to use for call out (excuse the ramble, bored and tipsy)
*grumble* *grumble* *grumble* China *grumble* Spying *grumble* *grumble* going to stick with my iPhone which is made in c..wwwwhhhaaaaaa?!
Interesting. No way we can get more data after taking out the contract?
I'm guessing this is single sim. I'm after a dual sim version, but they're harder to find it seems.
I bought one on ebay but it's a single sim that was advertised incorrectly annoyingly!

You can but it usually costs a bomb
