Good price but it's not a fully sythetic oil.
Shame it's not MB 229.5 spec, otherwise I'd be ordering it. Cracking price for decent oil anyway
For the sake of saving 5 or 10 quid I'd personally stick to a recognised brand since I'm pouring it into something worth several thousand pounds.

Is there something wrong with Mannol oil, German based firm. I have used their products on different cars and never had a problem.
As long as the spec is the same it makes no diference what the brand name is.
Assuming that the spec is honest

You tell me, I'll stock to a known brand rather than risk putting in some unknown oil in my engine to save a tenner.

Its quite easy to look up the industry organisation that tests/monitors oil quality and see which aren't up to scratch. Last time a mannol oil deal came up they hadn't had anything be found under spec.
Most oils come from the same base stocks, most likely filled from bulk tanks, i've used almost any kind of oil in any kind of vehicle and all you people saying they wouldn't use unbranded oil would be the 1st to buy 25ltrs of filtered cherry in a filthy plastic container

Sorry but I have to correct you. Mannol is a well known brand across Europe, but just less so in the UK. Their products have beaten both Castrol and Shell to win awards in European tests.
Strange I've never come across it, still wouldn't buy it cheap off ebay.

Oil serves a purpose, a bit like drinking water.
You can drink tap water, Evian, Voss or something else 'branded' but it's still water.

5w30 oil will still be 5w30 oil, whether from Castrol or Mannol.
If you're sticking cheap oil in don't wait 20k before you change it. The money you save just reinvest in doing oil changes more regularly.
I think I'd rather have new cheap oil in every 5k rather than (branded oil) every 10k/15k/20k miles.
I have this oil, really good, seems to be the same like Castrol, Shell, Mobil 1...
