Do people still cook like this?

We do olive oil or let things boil in a steamer & use the vegetable juice to fry/cook with.

The vegetable (rapeseed) oil is fine. The sunflower oil shouldn't be allowed to be sold as its that bad for human health

I am glad I read that because we often cook roast potatoes in goose fat too. Which it seems is quite a healthy way to cook them.

We have also moved back on to real butter & full fat milk. Because the amount of saturated fat is minimal if you eat a balanced diet.

The guy even said for frying he would use Olive Oil as a preference but in 2nd place Lard because animal fats are far less dangerous than Veg or Seed oil.

Presumably it's not good to use in modern diesels though?

No, can clog up the fuel system, it works on pre-common rail diesel engines, early 2000s and before. Needs mixing with normal diesel in the winter, as is hard to start from cold.

Your right modern diesel will get damaged
Ktc oil is £3.75 in asda. They have vegetable and sunflower oils on offer. Tried posting deal but apparently asda deals are banned here.
Doesn't seem to be available at this price in my local even though laila rice and beans are reduced, anyone know if this is going to actually be in store at this price?
Anyone actually tried cooking with olive oil in a curry, hows the taste? We can't stand the taste of vegetable oil so if you will say it's the same to me then get out of here
