Oh God if my Dad sees this he'll tell his 1970's "Party 7" stories again and I can't hear those stories again
I had a problem with one of the 5l Warsteiner kegs... Contacted them... Then one day they delivered 2 X 50l kegs... 2 days later, 48 bottles of Warsteiner... All I need now is a kegerator and a spare liver!

That snooker hall still going under the precinct?

Yep
omw!
Works out £1.20 per '500ml can' equivalent.

You can pick up 4x500ml packs (x2) for £8... standard 4 packs are £4.50 = £12.50 for 6 litres.

Basically, for an extra 50p, you can get a litre more.

Unless I'm missing something and I don't want to piss on the deal, I cannot quite see the value here, beyond the novelty of pouring yourself a pint?
Saw these in Reading as well. Wasn't sure whether they were a decent price or not though

Haha - maybe buy him one for old times sake! My Mom used to recycle the cans after New Years parties carefully removing the tops flattening edges covering in sticky back plastic hey presto new bin - we were very much a Blue Peter house
I need new kegs. Old ones have holes in them. Put on a bit of weight though.
Also at Morrisons Warrington
I bought a few of these kegs recently, they're a nightmare to keep chilled unless you have plenty of space in the fridge , they go flat after 2 days but great if you're having a BBQ and can drink same day... I'll be sticking to cans and bottles unless it's for a party 😁🍺

If you Homebrew these can be refilled and usually cost£5 at homebrew shops so I can see the value.
Those are fair points regarding the canisters. Wasn't aware of that.
Magners is £10 at Asda31783333-Qr8Tm.jpg
Asda has a Magners one, pretty sure is was £10,
I made a touch lamp out of an empty hobgoblin keg
Possibilities are endless ...

True, these rarely work out cost effective. Worth noting that if you are into home brew you can reuse these, and to buy an empty one costs about £8 alone.
