where from , I agree ready mix seems good when you buy it but gone in no time
Empty 2 litre pop bottle, drop of fairy, shake, put in screenwash resevoir - done.

And no it's never 'blocked' any pipes in 15 years of motoring.

Nice as a mixer with Gin
Half the price from a typical garage. Ask my wife after she'd spent £4 only to find one of these waiting for her on return
Cold ... Shame the screenwash wont work in it! Very weak blue coloured liquid that's fine for summer and autumn!

Does the Fairy Liquid stop it freezing though?

No - but half a litre of cheap vodka stuck in as well does - and it makes your car smell nice.

And, if ever you get stuck in the snow you have a supply of Vodka to make the time pass! (_;)
Or go to Tescos and fill up an empty 5 litre container and use their ready-mixed screenwash from the air pump.

Meant to say it costs £1 but you can do your tyres at the same time!

I managed to fill my washer bottle and a 5 litre container last time I did it at Tesco!

if you can find 1/2 ltr of vodka for less that £1.89, send the information this way
Stop buying ready mixed! You would be better p*****g into the screen wash reservoir and saving yourself £1.89.
Assuming that this contains (say) 500ml of concentrate, I shudder to think of the environmental impact of delivering 4.5 litres of water unnecessarily. It's concentrate every time for me.
Heat from me....

Something for the mother-in-law to drink over the festive period.:)

Contains salt and other nasties which won't do your paint or wipers any good. OK for an old wreck I suppose but DON'T use it in a decent car. Will still freeze too.

Leave it long enough and washing liquid will turn to a horrid black gunk in the bottom, quality screen wash is the answer (_;)
I bought a load of stuff from Wilkos a few months ago at 50p/carton ... cupboard is FULL of it now

In comparison to that deal, cold, and in comparison to making up your own from concentrate, this is ice cold.
I'm not sure it's this particular one as it comes in a different bottle but one of Lidl's screen washes is good down to something ridiculous like -40C when used neat. Well worth stocking up on this if you can still find it. Got hold of some myself a few weeks ago.
