(First post, be gentle!!)

Great value fence paint from Wilko. Bought the Country Brown colour and am well pleased with it!! Other colours also available.

Says brushable on the tub, but I used it with my electric fence sprayer (no thinning necessary) and managed get about 3 fence panels (1.8m x 1.8m) painted on BOTH sides with one tub. Good coverage, good color and at a great price!!

I'm in the market for some of this at the moment, with the fab price I can do it sooner rather than later! Thanks!

I misread this as face paint. Now I have a teak tan

Wickes have 12ltr for £10.95 if it helps anyone. Poundland have 2ltr for £1 in 3 different colours, but don't know if it's any good.

Yes, just beat me to it on the Poundland one. I bought some and haven't tried it yet. Maybe someone else has?

If you managed to get it through a spray gun it must be very thin so I wouldn't risk it, if you want a good quality timber care ( Johnstone's ) try The Range 9 Ltrs for £7.99

Have used this and it looks pretty good at first but fades very quickly so needs regular reapplying. I still have a tub in my garage but not even gonna bother using it again, gonna pay a bit more for a better quality product.

i saw this in wilko and some bloke told me they wre 2.99 each in b&m so i went there and he was right so i bought 2

Try Sky Fencing in Essex. That's where I got mine from!

I've long-since ceased using the cheapies. Johnstones is guaranteed for 3 years and I've found it survives much longer than that.

Coloured water, no better than emulsion, better to buy better quality.

I can confirm this; somewhat short of choice in the ones I've visited recently (is everyone painting), and differently branded, but 5l for £2.99. Also supposedly for brushing.

As I have said earlier, I got some Johnstone's for £7.99 for 9 Ltrs from The Range and there is no way on earth you would get that through a spray gun,it goes on just like emulsion. One word of warning, when it first goes on you may think "this is not the colour I wanted" but wait untill it dries then "Hey presto! it's the same as the colour markings on the tin.The trouble with all timber treatments now is they are water based as the old oil based creosote is cancerous so you can't get it anymore and the water based ones don't protect the wood the same, I have covered my fence panels with Johnstone's timber care ( Water Based ) let it dry then gone over it with Diesel out of my car so hopefully this will give it a waterproof covering.

Wonder if I could paint my wooden garage door with this?
