Might as well try them out for my two! Thanks OP Heat added
Classic example of selling a cute design to the owner of the cat.

Mine spend hours throwing around one of those plastic covers off a three pin plug and other assorted oddments of rubbish they scoop out of the paper bins in the house.

Not voting either way, but I'm pretty sure if I got these for my two I'd get that withering look that only a cat can give. Their equivalent of WTF...

The thing that sold it for me was the zip to put in fresh catnip.

My old cat was the same, loads of toys and the thing he played with most was a rolled up piece of paper (think like a pencil shape tube) with a cable tie around the middle. After that it was a ball of tin foil.
"Cat not included" .... this deal is no good for me.
Chew toys with zips 😨
Can anyone recommend any toys for my 6 month old kittens they've had luck with. I bought loads of toys but nothing seems to interest them. They don't seem to respond to catnip either

1. Cardboard box, turned upside down, with a hole cut in at the edge of one of the sides large enough for one of them to go inside. With any luck the one inside will then play with the one outside trying to get in too.

2. A laser pointer. Just shine it near them on the ground and jiggle the light about.

3. Anything shiny or feathery tied to a string and pulled along. Also a long stick dragged over a lawn or a carpet making a scraping sound. They'll chase these for ages.

4. I've never found catnip to work either. Probably stale. Grow catmint plants in your garden or a pot. A bit late now, but they love eating the leaves. They then look as if they're a bit stoned.

5. The only toys that have worked for our two are small things shaped like bears or chickens. Something with limbs or wings. Which they then throw up in the air and chase. Surrogate mice or birds , perhaps.

But essentially your cats are the ones that choose their amusement, not you. Just enjoy their independent spirit.

HTH. 🐈 🐈
My cat has never seen a whole fish how would he know what it is and play with it?
