If this is the one with the screw top rather than a cork it is probably Lidl's poorest Prosecco, IMHO. Last few bottles were pretty flat. Still perfectly drinkable, but their other stuff is worth the extra quid, or whatever it is, extra.

Edit. Now I know the reason for the lack of bubbles. Learn sometning new every day.
Just read the information about it on Lidl site. It states "Frizzante means that this is not quite as fizzy as Prosecco Spumante"

If it's the cork one ( not had a screw top one ) it's OK but not half as nice as Aldi's IMO for £5.49ish but so cheap is tempting get a couple of boxes for family lol mum gets Champagne of course
Is the 20% off case automatically applied or do you need code ?
Don't need code automatically discounted for weekend on special price.

Nothing like advice from a true wino....who doesn't know their Frizzante from their Spumante. Any recommendations for a decent red?

It is the wife who is the wino, I am a lager lout!
Not tried this...is it quite sweet as I have often found that with frizzante....... and don't really like the sweetness? Thanks
I've tried this before, its actually a decent Prosecco if such a thing exists. It will never beat Spanish or French wine but it's refreshing.
One, prosecco is a treat so pay a tenner you tight wad, 2, if your buying 6 bottles for £20 and getting excited, see a doctor, you have a problem!
Quality, not quantity comes to mind.
I've been to see my doctor he's already been..)
I quite enjoy this. It is a little less fizzy but nice flavour and quite handy with a screw top. I do still favour Aldi's spumante but this is a close 2nd so I'll be stocking up!
Good price, note to self..... Check the date and don't send OH to Lidl 9am sat morning
This looks like the screw top stuff. Not for me, you get what you pay for with this.
However, voted hot as its a stonking price for the quantity. Fine for a gathering, but not for a treat.
I betcha this is not available in Scotland as its a multibuy discount
Lethal.
It's corked we had a bottle last night

You can't compare it to wine! Lol
This is the screw top frizzante and not the more popular spumante. It's not great to be honest, far better to buy something you enjoy drinking and not just buying something because it's cheap.
Most importantly what %vol is it??

Wow some uncalled for bitchyiness here! I used to work in a wine merchants as a student and quite like a nice Sancerre myself. I also like cava rather than prosecco. Surely nowadays wine buying really is personal taste rather than ' good taste' that matters. Also, even wine experts welcome alternatives to corks as they can taint a wine. That said, I'd prefer a couple of drinkable wines rather than 6 undrinkable ones
It's fine for cooking - - - add a good splash when you're frying onions for a casserole, or when having with sausages (sausage and onion butties in sourdough bread mmmmmmm!)
good to see Lidl can add up, 6 x £3.33 anyone

Limited to 'maximum of 6 of each item per customer' so I would assume that's 6 x £20 cases...
It's 1 case per customer.
Just been to Lidl, member of staff took me to tomorrows offer of this, it's a screw top and 10.5 % ABV.
On my way to buy some
Got to Lidl at 8.15 & all gone!
