instore as well? Can someone explain, I just pick 6 bottles and go to checkout in the till?

Just had a look and there's no brand guarantee discount coming up for me for a click & collect order ??!!!

Pity they've fixed it and won't work now.

No this would require you to buy 10 different items, BUT they've fixed it now so this won't work.

you still have time to get a much better deal than this - search for the other Tesco wine deal today. I got 28 bottles of superior Hardy's Stamp wine for £2.50 a bottle.

The 25% off 6 or more bottles & 2 for £9 deals are stacking

You need to buy 10 different items for the brand guarantee to work. Easiest way of doing this is to go around Fruit and Veg and pick 9 different single loose items (carrot, onion, mushroom, potato, etc - Haribo 10p sweets also work)- assuming there's nothing else you want in store. Don't add items 'on offer' as they may reduce the amount of your brand guarantee.

Wonder if it works on the Brancott Estate Sauvignon Blanc? On offer in Morrisons at £6.50 (rather than £9 and brand match with 25% off would make this £4.88 per bottle (if you buy 6) in Tesco.

Can you list which 24 bottles you bought? Best I can get is coming in at over £3 per bottle for 24.
Did you collect or get it delivered as well?
Cheers

well it was 2 orders

12 of one type of Hardy's stamp, 2 bottles of the other - mine was an online order last night as we worked this out yesterday - you need to get your order over £40 or you pay a £4 fee - which is why I ordered the other 2 bottles

nae problemo as still 2 for £9 and 25% off 6 or more

2 Hardy's Stamp Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 75Cl £6.50 £13.00
12 Hardy's Stamp Semillon Chardonnay 75Cl £6.50 £78.00

don't stress your head too much - I also had a £4 off £40

which is why I paid £2.50 a bottle for this plonk lol

fab deal

Please IGNORE comments from DARZEN. He's on both wine threads at the moment stating the glitches don;t work, however they do and in all stores.

Does it work with loose fruit/veg? I always struggle to understand 'pick 10 things'. Just read an article and they said it wasn't included. Any update appreciated. Cheers.

they do indeed work and Darzen is a bit of a sad case in denial because he wasn't clever enough to buy the right wines

1 sprout, bit of carrot, small potato, grape, tiny bit of ginger, mushroom (white), mushroom (brown), onion (red), onion (brown), tomato, banana, apple, pear - you name it - it works fine

useful buys include long life milk - skimmed, semi skimmed, full - always the same price everywhere so good for comparison; own brand mineral/ spring waters; not keen on the sweets myself but they also work

DON'T buy the bargain you see in the same trolley load - just keep it separate & pay for it in a different transaction

Didn't work for me, brand match £3.29

Yep didn't work... just tried in store

I've ordered some of the other wine so will probably down some of that and see if I can pluck up the courage to go the tills with 6 bottles of wine, 1 grape, 1x mushroom, 1x banana etc. X)

The article I read noted the reader used MySupermarket to find prices, and it had to be exact. Eg if the discounted item was fairy lemon, buying fairy lavender wouldn't work. Perhaps try that.

It's not user error, if you had half a brain you might understand.
Tesco have fixed the brand match/25% off double discount.
Go and try it yourself or are you too stupid .

Show us your receipt then, you'll be the only one in the UK with a receipt that shows a brand match and 25% off double discount.

Yep just tried in store and didn't work

Actually I'm wrong it does give the double discount.
But it is taking the discount off first so 7.50 x 6 = £45 - 25% = £33.75, then it does the brand match , so £33.75 - £30 = £3.75 bm. So works out at £5 a bottle same as Asda.

But obviously there are people on here with different results but won't show their receipts

So the glitch is fixed then?

Not according to some people above, but they haven't posted any proof its working yet.

No user error, working out at nearly double what you say it is. You still haven't posted proof yet.

Took 3.75 price match off for me last night so £30 / £5 per bottle to match asda NOT £18.75 as in post.
