Just went to the larger Home Bargains in Stevenage, which I thought was a steel. Best before date was November 2015. By comparison an eight pack is 7.50 in Asda...Enjoy!

What size are the bottles ? 568ml ?

Sorry forgot to add, these are 500 ml sized bottles. That works out to be 76 pence a pint. Would drinking a whole case count as ALL of your five a day plus one?

Indeed it would, just factor in some loo roll as well though, anything more than a couple of pints of Magners pear cider has interesting gastic side affects in my exerience.

Best laxative on the Market

awesome

This stuff is house swill. Would be surprised if it has had much more than a pear passed over the sugar syrup it's fermented from. Doubt it has much pear juice in there.

Westons and Aspalls at least use real fruit juice in some of their range.

But as this is a deal site great price if you can drink it !

used to like bulmers and magners until I actually tried other ciders

Sorry, I still don't get why cider in bottles is somehow worth more than exactly the same cider in cans. Magners Apple cider is currently 4 pint cans for £2.99 at B&M Bargains, which makes this deal look pretty poor in comparison.

I agree with the sentiment but that deal is the same value (give or take a couple of pence) as this one.

Uncle willy, I did the maths for you remember 76 pence a pint equivalent? By my calculations then four pints would be £3.04 pence, a shilling more than the deal you found. Their practicality the same!

you look less like a **** when drinking from a bottle, for starters. and that's coming from someone who drinks from both.

I usually buy cans because they're cheaper but regardless of whether I buy cans or bottles I always drink from a glass, I would do without the drink before doing without a glass. That's the way I roll!

I've never understood the sometimes significant price differential between stuff sold in both bottles and tins though.
