Sainsburys winemakers mulled wine is normally £3.49 per bottle, but on offer 2 for £6. With the 25% off when you buy 6, it takes it down to £13.50 for 6.
No idea what it's like, but you can always add a splash of brandy to spice it up a bit...

It's not something you'd drink every day all year round, but I think it's lovely during the cold season, warms you up and tastes of Christmas!

Have Mulled heat !

Thanks for reply, think ill try it

The taste the difference one is really nice, have it every year, anyone else tried this? is it nice ?

I looked at the taste the difference one, but it worked out nearly 20 quid for 6, so went with this one... It's probably nowhere near as nice, but at that price you can't grumble!

10% so not the strongest but a great deal nonetheless.

I'm not knocking your deal as its a really good price, I have only tried that on before and was going to get some tomorrow if it is as nice I will be buying some cheers for posting

Nice warm

I love mulled wine, might use my nectar points!!

Asda one for £2.20 is only 8% so definitely worth the extra 30p for this deal!

They have 3 for £12 on other wines so you can buy 6 bottles for £18 after discount. Wollemi red, pont st jean rioja plus a fair few others. This deal is a dupe by the way.

Wine! Happy new year.

It's like marmite you either love it or hate it, defiantly lovely in my opinion but never tried this one before but worth a try.

not sure if this is the same, but the last Sainsbury's own-brand mulled wine listed relatively all natural flavourings. I don't drink it, but do put a splash in the slowcooker
heat added

.....I have heard that you can get seriously 'Mullered' with Mulled Wine...
but a friend of mine said that if you eat 'Mueller Rice' before you go out, then despite its name the rice has an 'Anti-Mullering' effect. My maths and science teacher said that its because :

-1 Muller (rice) + 1 Muller (wine) = 0 Muller which = Sober (but equates to unhappy)

All a bit confusing really

Mulled Wine is the most indulgent alcoholic beverage to ever dance upon the lips of man (and woman). It's presence in the kitchen this time of year is an absolute necessity and must not be overlooked.

Thank you OP, I shall be gracing the nearest Sainsburys with my presence shortly - accompanied by a large, empty 4x4 in order to transport my wine home.

You're right -it's 8%, hence the suggestion of adding a little brandy!

Drinking it as we speak, bloody lovely!

As noted above, a drop of brandy improves it no end. Plus a glug of brandy for good measure.

£2.00 a bottle in the Co-op

how do you get the extra 25%?

Same here however this year the TTD mulled wine is very different and no where near as nice. Used to be tempranillo based and 14% not sure what it is based on now but only 11%. Very disappointed. Had the cheap one last year - yuk, can't comment on this year.

This actually tastes better that last years range from Sainsburys.........

Purchased 6 for myself and friends... and my 15% staff discount on top of the £13.50 so just under £11.50 for 6 bottles...

P.S Also this tastes better than the mulled wine at the German Christmas Market in Birmingham and they charge £4 for a small cup...

Hmm the website says 10%. Much better to buy a ~13% box wine and add the contents of a 'Schwarz Mulled Wine' kit.

been down to my local sainsburys for this deal. Perfect. Thanks op
