Hi all, picked up a load of Creme Eggs from Home Bargains in Stourbridge today; they have them for a fantastic price of 6 for £1.

YUM YUM!

Great idea for teachers wanting a cheap Easter present for the children!

You actually get 8 (EIGHT) individual eggs for £1.00 or 19p each

Deals like this one is the reason why I am addicted to Home Bargains.
I laugh when I see supermarkets and local shops selling these at 60p + each. X)

Can't resist these bad boys!

Caramel or normal?

not nationwide

I have eaten 3 already this morning...
The kids won't have any left the rate I am going.
The wife has just told me about a Creme Egg chocolate brownie recipe on the Internet.
Going to be fat at this rate!

Yesterday's deal was for the caramel ones. Cant understand why it's a better deal for the (nicer I think) regular ones.

"Great idea for teachers wanting a cheap Easter present for the children!"

Two questions I have:
1. When did Easter turn into a holiday for giving presents?
2. When did teachers start giving pupils presents?

As teachers both me and my wife have purchased the eggs to give to the children for Easter, so yes teachers do give presents to children.
Furthermore have you not noticed shelves full of Easter eggs in the supermarkets?
Eggs that get given as gifts?

Is this a wholesalers? When I went to register on the site it wants my company.

If it is then it's not really a deal for everyone

Home Bargains is a high street retailer. They do have a website and as I understand it you do not need to be trade to buy from them, just order what you want. Some of the stock will get delivered to your local store where you can pick it up.

Do note that some of the in-store offers are not on the website!

Picked some up from my local store (newcastle under lyme). They had boxes full as you go into the shop.

Not £1 in all stores

£1.99 in the 3 that we checked in over the weekend

As others have said, this is not nationwide. My local HB sell them for 19p each.

I did not realise that this site was about correct grammar or that people comment to correct others written English!
