6 Cinema Tickets for free or £36 over 12 months (Cineworld or Vue) when you switch to Club Lloyds account

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Change your account to a Club Lloyds Current account and get 6 Free Cinema Tickets.

In order for the tickets to be free, you need to pay in over £1500 a month for the £3 monthly fee to be waived, therefore getting the tickets for free.

If you don't pay in over £1500 a month then you are charged a £3 a month fee, so effectively paying for 6 cinema tickets for £36 over a 12 month period.

Current Adult Cineworld prices are £10.30 - £13.00, therefore 6 x £10.30 = £61.80
Current Adult Vue prices are £9.99 - £11.49, therefore 6 x £9.99 = £59.94

Effectively £60 worth of cinema tickets for £36 if you pay in less than £1500

Tickets are emailed every year and can be used to book seats online.

As previously posted by another user - you can also get £125 for swapping to a Club LLoyds account

T&C's

    • 6 cinema tickets to use during the year at over 80 locations across the UK.
    • Cinema tickets can be used for standard 2D admission ticket and can also be used as part payment on non-standard admission, e.g. 3D screenings.
    • Tickets are valid for 12 months.
You can now upgrade Vue cinema vouchers for VIP tickets at no extra cost when you book online or at the box office, subject to availability. Cineworld vouchers continue to apply to standard seating only.

I've got this account. £1500 in and out the same day means you don't pay the £3 fee. Tickets are downloadable.

I've only used one ticket so far, but was pleasantly surprised the tickets meant I was eligible for VIP seating.

Well...they are. Surely you pay money into a current account? If you pay over £1500 a month into that account, they're free, if you don't it's £3 a month; as mentioned in the title.

I got the email last week about picking my reward but have not received the tickets yet. Maybe will need to chase them. last year the magazines took ages to arrive.
I signed up to switch my account earlier this week. Switch is happening next week, but I've already got the £125 switching bonus, but not had the tickets yet. I plan to 'recycle' £1,500 monthly from another account as I won't be using it as a primary account

I reckon for the money that needs to be paid in & the monthly fee, 6 cinema tickets a year is a bit

Perhaps, but as I previously mentioned, everyone pays into a current account, so its a nice bonus to simply move or upgrade!

There is no monthly fee if you pay in £1,500 each month (doesn't have to stay in there so just move it from your main account and back again).

Plus, there's the switching fee.

Looks like a bargain to me. My fifth switch of the year may have just commenced

I think it's less hassle to use meerkat 2-1 code on Tues/Wed and get 2 Cineworld or Odeon tickets for £5 (or 2 Premiere cinema for £4)
You can use these with meerkat 241 and only use one voucher.

Not since I last checked. But I don't need £1500 a month to get a code.

I only responded to OP who was wondering why it was not getting lots of heat....

No drama.

Does anyone know if an existing Lloyd’s customer would get the £125 for switching to this current account? I only have the standard account at the moment.

There's a live chat option when you go to the Lloyds Club Account page. Quick to answer questions...

Nothing is FREE... there’s always someone somewhere pays
For anyone who’s interested, switching to the club account from a standard account doesn’t qualify for the £125 bonus. Guess I’ll be switching elsewhere then.

Thanks there's a bit of confusion around here.

My deal (with the free £125) is about the current account switch promo. That's a proper deal in the sense that it's time limited.

This one here (with the tickets) is about the benefits of the Club Lloyds account product. That is just a regular product and it's been around for a long time, so not a special deal per se.

Easy to mix these since with the switch you get the benefits (e.g. tickets) as well. But you can well have the latter without the former, if you open an account rather than switching, or when the switching promo expires (was 5 Nov, extended to 12th now).
