Hi edi,

Argos seem to have some good buys on their 6 Day Mega Deal promotion. There's a Navman iCN310 reduced from £249.99 to £149.99 but i'm not sure if that's a good buy or not with eBuyer selling a Navman iCN320 for £99.99 with free delivery. Anyway, back to what i'd wanted to ask. Does anyone know whether or not Argos definitely supply a free 3-year warranty with the Sony 3LCD 50in TV that you'd mentioned. They advertise several LCD TVs (over £499) with a free 3-year warranty but there's no mention of this in their main catalogue for the Sony 3LCD 50in TV. Perhaps it's part of their 6 Day Mega Deals promo. The warranty is mentioned at the following URL however not on their in-store flyer:-

argos.co.uk/web…_1a

Any comments/suggestions would be appreciated. Contacted Customer Services and awaiting a response. knowing my luck this is probably an error on their web-site.

Kind Regards.

Thanks MacNewbie

Argos customer service is quite good. Also, if something is advertised and you buy based on that, you also have legal rights apart from statutory rights.

I'll get a print out for records

Hi edi,

Thank you for your reply. What you've said makes sense however I think that they (Argos) have got a get out clause as they mention E&OE (or words to that effect) on their flyers. Not sure what's mentioned on their web-site but guess it's something similar.

Kind Regards.
