Well its all relative. These flights are quite expensive to start (Cathay is a good airline) with so you cant expect to get them for fiver..

Have you considered Air Asia instead? They may be better suited for your needs.. See earlier comments.

Thanks.

Indeed they are.

See this; telegraph.co.uk/tra…tml

No mention of Malaysian airlines or Air Asia though..

Heat added. I got the cash but don't have the time.

Dam, was hoping flights would include March / April but the offer doesn't begin until 1 May.
Some hot fares for Oz there!!

You may be able to combine several flights with Air Asia to eventually reach your final destination. Go to their website and check. Their hub is in Kuala Lumpur and apparently in the past it has has an impeccable flight safety record..

No I checked...just spent the last 7.5 hours looking at all alternatives on the phone to Air Asia's using their premium charged calls but no luck...seems i am stuck with either Aeroflot or a donkey.

So you've just burnt your entire first class ticket on a premium rate call! I hope it was worth it!! TBH, I never spent more than 45 minutes on the phone myself..

A donkey would be a reasonable alternative. But don't forget, these things don't come cheap and do have upkeep costs (food etc)..

I personally would avoid Aeroflop at all cost... its not the most comfortable airline and the food is bland..

2. Fares listed are lead-in fares from Manchester.

The flights are mainly from LHR, pls provide evidence of them being from MAN

Qatar is having a similar sale. Can't find any of these sale prices on either airlines.

Original Poster

I'd just like town room that Qatar and Cathay are very different airlines like chalk and cheese. As mentioned above, you get what you pay for..

Also if you look hard enough, the deals can be found. You cannot be too choosy with the dates.. And most deals are for weekday departures fr LHR.

Thanks

If this was aimed at me then, this was the second in the terms and conditions. I think that this would be to promote Cathay's new service from Manchester.

fair enough..

Would like to book for Feb/March 2016 Man-HKG but can't find any fares for anywhere close to £449.

This is a re-kindling of a very old post... (it was a 6-day offer)

I suggest you wait until the CP offer comes around again..
