Inside M25 only, I think.

Take up a subscription to The Times and the Sunday Times and they'll deliver it to your door before 7am at no extra charge. As long as you include The Sunday Times you also get six free cinema tickets for Vue or Odeon (you have to specify which when you sign up).

The cinema tickets are completely open to be used any day. You must include the Sunday Times to get the tickets.

I did this offer last time around. The first Sunday I didn't get the paper (but wasn't charged). The second week I did (£2 cost). I'd received the cinema tickets by then so cancelled. I don't even remember if they took that £2, which you pay by direct debit. It wasn't difficult to cancel, which can be done by email or phone.

The tickets last a year, I think.

If you want to vote cold, could you please let me know where I can get six cinema tickets cheaper? I'm dying to know.

Not a deal imo, just ripping off an offer. It's like signing up for magazine offers to *get the free gift* and then cancelling your sunscription You could do this your whole life and stash loads of free stuff.. Ok it's not ripping off, it's just ... someone find the word for me?

You're right but its only within the M25 as you thought and I bet if you cancel after one week and only order the Sunday Times you won't qualify for the tickets. Plus they will sell your details to other marketers I reckon!
Orange Wednesdays aren't bad

Don't get me wrong notken, thanks for posting etc ... but I don't think it's entirely within the spirit of HUKD? Or am I just snubbing what is a good opportunity to get free tickets?

I'd agree with Darracott though, get a PAYG phone to exploit Orange Wednesday ...

Vote hot hot.

That's exactly what I did last time around. I waited for the cinema tickets to arrive, then cancelled, which meant I'd only got one paper. The terms state that you can cancel at any time, so I would say that once you've received a single Sunday Times you've qualified for the offer.

£2 for six unrestricted cinema tickets seems like a pretty good deal to me! I'll be using the last pair from the last time they ran this offer this weekend.

I also got two £10 off vouchers for WH Smith. Well, each to their own.

I agree with petermerrit. This isn't a deal, it's a loophole that you're exploiting. The deal should be Subscibe to The Times & Sunday Times and get 6 free cinema tickets.

If it's complying with the rules of the offer I think claiming it's 'ripping off' is being a bit precious. It's not cheating (as we sometimes see proposed on HUKD), it's a shrewd exploitation of an offer which the publisher is well aware will happen in some cases. If they wanted to avoid that they could simply introduce a delay (minimum sub period) before mailing out the tickets. Presumably their experience shows that they win some and lose some but, on balance, it's commercially worthwhile for them in the fiercely competitive newspaper world.

Frankly I think it's more hassle than it's worth but if you're prepared to do it then it's a hot deal.

Bah ... -18 says it all eh.
