Tennis For Kids is back!

For £25, children will receive the following:
- 6 x coaching sessions
- A Babolat tennis racket (21 or 23”)
- Pack of tennis balls
- Personalised t-shirt
- Follow-on offer to keep playing

These tennis taster sessions are available for children aged 4-11 who are NEW to tennis.

From how to hold a racket, to developing a rally, your kid will learn all the essentials that are key to building confidence and a foundation in tennis. Age-specific activities and specially trained coaches give you the reassurance that your kid is receiving the best possible start in tennis - as well as having lots of fun and staying active in a safe, relaxed environment.

Tennis is a great way for children to learn new skills, and we encourage home practice with mum, dad, brothers and sisters so the whole family can be involved. Plus tennis is a great sport to help your child learn valuable life skills, like respect, team work, fair play and concentration.

Most importantly, they’ll be having fun and making new friends - and who knows, it may even be the start of a life-long love for tennis!

Thanks for sharing op
It really is a cracking deal for any parent!
Thank You!Booked😄
Wasnt this free last year as my 6yr old did it. He enjoyed it. Still a good deal though to be fair
Booked in thanks op, what a bargain and the t shirt is personalised too
I think it was free last year, but I think this time they've gone along the ECB All-stars route which makes you pay a fee but gives you more stuff. Last year you were just given a racquet at the end of the course (one of the ones that were used during the lessons).
was free last year with a free racket at the end of the sessions.

The sessions aren't very well organised and the instructors just don't have the skills to work a small group of kids.
At free it was ok, at £25 it's nothing that won't learn from playing outside.
Booked - thanks for the heads up- boys have been desperate for a go at tennis for ages
Tried this for free last year for my son. It was okay not great. Have been looking for this to turn up again this year for free but £25 for 6 hours of coaching, a racket, a pack of balls and a t-shirt isn't bad.

We did this last year too. They youngest age group don't play much tennis but it gets them out and running around and she enjoyed it.
Cheers! Booked!
Thanks, booked!

could not agree more, instructors have no skill set in handling kids or tennis and had to remove my kid when started feeling it was getting dangerous as he could of fallen with no supervision, would'nt not recommend and left us worried ...

I`m not sure which club/centre you attended so cannot comment on this exact incident but you cannot generalise with the statement of saying the sessions are not well organised and the instructors do not have the skills? This should only be run by Level 3 LTA coaches and they should have the skill and they should be well organised. If you found the one you attended was not I would change club/location if interested in learning/attending. Also the comment about nothing you won`t learn from playing outside, well it is an introduction session that should go over the basics but should be in a structured well delivered format that will be more beneficial than just playing oustide, unless you have tour own mini tennis court/net red balls and coaching knowledge. I have noticed this year it is £25 so I know for a fact that many good quality coaches and clubs are running the initiative.

Yes, it was free last year. The children got a new Babalot tennis ball and a new Davis Cup
racket. I liked the idea that you could not get the new racket until you finished all six lessons, it was a real incentive
