Viewing on a TV screen

The BT Sport app cannot be viewed on any digital media players. Mirroring using services such as Apple TV, Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV Stick on televisions, computers or any other portable equipment capable of receiving or transmitting television broadcasts isn’t possible. So you can't sling, fling or cast content from the app on your phone or connected tablet to other digital media players.

How about mirroring the phone display itself via Chromecast? However, it's more than likely to result in very choppy video due to streaming, mirroring then streaming again.

I have a bt app and on my phone and I use my friends account that he pay subscription to BT on his sky box, I chromecast it to my tv at home and work perfectly fine!

yeah we've never had problem mirroring when paid for bt sport but can't with this this free one.

doesnt work on my ipad, says you have to have a sim, be interested how it works on the lappy.....

i used my EE sim to register, got text with code and setup BT sports apps on my phone. I also thought there must be a way to cast/mirror it but had no luck so installed the BT sports app from windows store on my laptop, used credentials I created earlier on phone and it worked. Sorry I can't be more help but these are the only steps I had to take.
