I myself would use something impartial and independent, not a magazine as such however a forum :

avforums.com/for…ms/

Definitely more honest opinions and info on how to's, then search here for the wanted bargain and it's a win win.
Hope this helps.

I don't really see Stuff as a review magazine, more a shop window into awesome things that I usually can't afford.

AVF - a site that actively restricts access for adblockers & spams the user with nag messages to remove it. I'm sure their reviews are totally independent of the ad revenue stream they insist on forcing on users.

I don't like the sound of that bit.
Is it worth selling the Soundcore I got from Prime Day to get this instead?
Gone for it worth it for the speaker (but better get it!)

Thanks for heads up - did this happen to you on a previous deal? What did you get please?
ordered just for the speaker so hoping I get that and not a rubbishy replacement.
excellent!! cheers!!
Will the subscription carry on past the 6 months or do I have to cancel?
Themagazineshop has poor reviews and im sure they are NOT going to have hundreds of theses speakers available as it just dosnt make economic sense giving away an £80 speaker for just over £20 plus 6 free mags .... they will send out a cheap alternative even though they claim they will substitute for a similar item and price and honestly how many are going to continue the subs ....5% if lucky and that would be a crippling turnover for Them !

Probably written by the same people. Nice speaker gets good reviews. Sweet have some heat
Yep ordered when was Auto gleam deal long time ago said was out of stock and sent me an adjustable spanner you could buy in any pound shop

Love to hear if anyone actually receives this actual speaker?
Just cancel direct debit and email customer services once you receive the last issue. Been doing it for years. Unfortunately been black listed at Stuff magazine for taking too many of there 3/£1 deals.
Good deal if you get the speaker ive subscribed worth a punt.

I took a punt, but am prepared for the worst....

Either way I will review any shoddy practices on youtube to enlighten people....

I would say that the magazine is useful (I subscribe to it) to keep up to date with what is going on, as long as the reviews are taken with a pinch of salt.
Great deal, for the speaker alone, and I like the magazine to, just hope they keep there promise with the speaker.
Heat and Im so tempted to give it a go, however to be fair I have a jbl flip 2 still running strong, this could do as a spare, but I have a feeling I wouldn't get one. So I guess I'll pass, but good luck to all who took the chance! Hope you get the speaker not the spanner;)

Made an order too! Hope they don't erm, "run out of stock" of the speaker and replace it with a toolkit...
Right, I'm in!

anyone know the wattage of the speaker?
In order for the magazine to afford to give so many of these speakers out, it sounds to me that they may have made some kind of deal with the speaker producers.

Second that. Seen "reviews" for £80 Monster HDMI cables describing the colours, motion, clarity, etc, etc. All total BS. Been proven all but the most extreme cases (4k, 60fps, 3D) are bit for bit identical on standard HDMI cables.
Giving it a go... will report back!
Ordered one, thanks op for the deal

They take the £21.99 first then start the subscription and send your gift - which sounds like it could well be a £20 replacement and that's the worry for me.
Just a heads up, I've had loads of free gifts, 6 for a £1 magazines etc. - never contacted customer services yet, just cancelled d/d.

anyone know the wattage of the speaker?

According to Amazon the speaker wattage is 20 watts.
Comes with free Snake oil
If it isn't as described contact your bank for a refund and cancel the direct debit.
I'm seriously tempted to give this a go but I already have a Philips P9, Sony-X77 and an Amazon Echo!
