I myself would use something impartial and independent, not a magazine as such however a forum :
avforums.com/for…ms/
Definitely more honest opinions and info on how to's, then search here for the wanted bargain and it's a win win.
Hope this helps.

I don't really see Stuff as a review magazine, more a shop window into awesome things that I usually can't afford.
AVF - a site that actively restricts access for adblockers & spams the user with nag messages to remove it. I'm sure their reviews are totally independent of the ad revenue stream they insist on forcing on users.

edit - seen this
I don't like the sound of that bit.
The Anker Soundcore on Amazon for £29.99 gets good reviews...amazon.co.uk/dp/…O6Y

Love to hear if anyone actually receives this actual speaker?
Either way I will review any shoddy practices on youtube to enlighten people....
Well they are both made by the same company, must be a policy they follow lol
I would say that the magazine is useful (I subscribe to it) to keep up to date with what is going on, as long as the reviews are taken with a pinch of salt.
Second that. Seen "reviews" for £80 Monster HDMI cables describing the colours, motion, clarity, etc, etc. All total BS. Been proven all but the most extreme cases (4k, 60fps, 3D) are bit for bit identical on standard HDMI cables.
They take the £21.99 first then start the subscription and send your gift - which sounds like it could well be a £20 replacement and that's the worry for me.
Just a heads up, I've had loads of free gifts, 6 for a £1 magazines etc. - never contacted customer services yet, just cancelled d/d.
