About this deal

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

The king of apples, Russet’s are incredibly hard to find. Usually when you can find them you have to buy them individually by weight and they are not cheap.

To my surprise they are now branded “wonky” with a “wonky” price to boot!

Amazing.

In Morrisons yesterday to pick up their own brand toothpaste as it is cheap and does not annoy my teeth, ended up buying a pile of stuff as they were surprisingly cheap given how much they had previously put up prices, must've been panicked by the lack of shoppers - no queues when I was there. Asda is the one to avoid at the moment though they just sent me another free fiver via the rewards app (buy anything and get a five quid voucher to spend - use it to buy half a dozen bags of their scampi as it gets the net price back to 2010). Loads of cheap fruit in Aldi but the queues are terrible even off peak, though kind shoppers with trolleys overflowing usually let me queue jump with my mere basket.

Morrison's prices have gone up a lot for things that I buy. I've started using Aldi for basics like bread now. Literally half the price for their brown loaf which tastes very similar to a brown Hovis. (edited)

Russet apples are so tasty. Pretty much the only apple I'll eat. Thanks for the heads up

Pah! Russets and Braeburns - prise your wallet open for the Pink Ladies, that's a proper apple, that. (edited)

Overpriced and too sweet. But each to their own :-)

Good price but I prefer Braeburn apples for flavour.

My Nan used to love Russets, definitely the nicest apples! Could never find them anywhere but her local farm shop - she’d always sit and peel me a delicious Russet whenever I visited! Can’t believe they’re now in Morrisons!

Russets are wonderful apples, I imagine they are in the wonky bin as most customers don't appreciate the matt skin and expect the sugar rush of pink lady.

Russets. Aaah! Invoke the memories of a golden childhood.

The wonky range seems to be hit and miss In morrisons now.

I used to buy the wonky peppers. Not anymore. The price has gone up and the quality has gone down.
