There's a Cadbury shop?? I'm glad there isn't one here, I'd be their best customer!

Most of their stock is more expensive than in the supermarkets.

That is correct too!
Infact people were almost fighting each other in the cadburyworld shop as though they had never seen a choccie bar before, I can only imagine the scenes in there for these at 6 for a pound..
was just coming to say the same as the last two posters, an actual deal in a Cadbury Outlet shop has to be a first
Maa won't last till that date
I used to love these when Cadburys were REAL instead of being tasteless YUCK made in any old factory. But I suppose at these give away prices they have accepted what they are really worth.

It's because kraft took over and replaced cocoa butter with vegetable fats

And they wonder why people have turned against Cadbury's chocolate! It's now the same greasy, unchocolatey muck that Nestle produce for the UK market.

Plus Kraft have shafted the company and employees. I'd boycott them if only I could resist!
Kraft don't own Cadbury anymore. That part of the Kraft business was spun off as Mondelez.

Perfectly true - but the same guiding principles still apply. Cheapen the ingredients of the chocolate as far as is humanly possible without actually turning it into cr*p (some might argue they've gone a little too far already), try to pretend it hasn't changed, milk the brand for all it's worth, then sell it on in a few years time, possibly sooner, after having extracted all the goodwill built up by the Cadbury family and its successors over a long period of time. It's the American way......
now thats a deal, compared to supermarkets and poundstores. Strange theres no store in the Midlands where a big factory is?

Except of course they HAVEN'T changed the recipe. You say they "claim" not to - if they are lying it's incredibly illegal. The shape has changed, that is all. Funnily enough the world doesn't revolve around you and in their testing they found the new shape more popular, so they went for it (why else would they change it... Feel free to engage your brain if you'd like).

But feel free to throw a hissy fit based on bigoted opinions, it's the British way...

They have an outlet bit inside the Cadbury shop that is inside Cadbury Land ! If that makes sense. You don't have to buy tickets for Cadbury Land either, you can just visit the shop, so I've heard.
Love the bags of mishapes they do

Or maybe blind to what Kraft, and now Mondelez, have been doing to Cadbury's? Remember the Creme Egg fiasco?

Oh I do!!
I also remember how disgusted I was when I visited the Cadbury factory in Birmingham
The 2 Cadbury brothers would be quaking in their graves if they knew what has happenened to there factory and chocolate..

The new packaging for flakes is terrible, with the old one you could untwist the wrapper, eat your flake and the crumbs of chocolate would stay on the wrapper then when you were done you could tip them into your mouth. With the new wrapper chocolate crumbs go everywhere.
..Tastes like chocolate never tasted (best) before!

That's because they were Quakers.

You're talking about Dairy Milk, which hasn't changed. However, the products which used Dairy Milk but don't carry the Dairy Milk brand name (presently), e.g. Flake, Creme Eggs, Crunchie, Twirl have all changed from using Dairy Milk chocolate to another recipe.
Wow! Thanks OP

OK, so they destroyed the company first, then 'spun it off'. What's the relationship between Kraft and Mondelez?
Cadbury's founders ensured it was one of the most ethically run businesses in the interests of employees and customers (along with a number of other Quaker businesses of the time) long before faux socialists entered the scene. Bournville is a real model community. Kraft have done untold harm here, just as they did in York.
Got these 2 weeks ago at the Caburys shop Junction 32 :-)) bargain!
have stopped buying Cadbury now after it being my favourite for about 60 years and I know plenty of others who agree it just doesn't taste the same now its muck.
