The little Tesco & Tesco Express in Southampton are selling the boxes of 6 Quorn Bangers for 47p in the frozen section. If the shelf is empty just ask one of the staff to pop in the back and look for you.

I purchased up 20 packs from two tesco's as i eat these on the diet i do, great for diets and veggies..

I'm glad you put Sausages in brackets beside it otherwise I wouldn't have known what a banger was

I saw these in Manchester last night but the shelf was empty.

Cold because im a carnivore

I haven't tried these yet, but I might give it a go at this price. Thanks =)

Really so you don't eat any vegetables at all then just meat

Hot... love them

Great price, so hot from me. But these are awful. That said, not as bad as the Linda McCartney ones lol.

Cold because I'm offended by mycoproteins and vegetarians.

i don't understand why people vote cold on this, you can pay upto £2 for these in other places, because you don't like it gets cold votes.... the spirit of this places has been lost i feel

Very good price.. I'm not a veggie but always keep a bag of Quorn mince, Quorn chicken-style pieces and Quorn sausages in the freezer. Very handy because they'll cook straight from frozen -- with a decent range of M&S(!) sauces in the cupboard, it's very easy to knock up a quick dinner for one or two on a week-night.

But a bit of a question: does anyone have any recommendations for egg-free veggie sausages/mince/chicken-style pieces? Recently tried some of Sainsbury's meat-free frozen mince which is nowhere near as good as Quorn. Ta!

Just take it as that woman is a bit simple, it is definitely not going to be the price long term.

Just guessing here, but with the mycoprotein patent expiring this year, I would imagine they want to build up major brand recognition and loyalty, getting us all hooked on the taste and associated cheap price or something, so we will continue to buy the quorn brand when other firms issue similar products... At least there will be mycoprotein meat substitute competition now :-D

very cheap

bargain, hot

It's called satire.

There are frequently a plethora of threads deriding people with the gall to dare to consume meat, hence my little bit of fun.

That's a bit out of order. I posted this 3 months ago and it's still the same price in the Nottingham Angel Row store. Only my-planet found them in Elm Park, so I'm glad someone else found them, too!

EDIT: Lol and you nicked most of my title and opening lines, jimlad21! Thanks for posting tho!
