That’s masking tape which is different imo to painters tape. Painters tape leaves thin crisp lines whereas with masking tape the paint manages to get underneath the tape resulting in a terrible finish

Wow - used to paying c.£5-6 a roll for this stuff! Are you aware of any deals on the wider c.50mm tape?
Each Roll 24mm x 55m
Any one used this? I normally buy frog tape, is it as good?
Can I use this on my car as detailing tape
Great for 3D printers
I usually use masking tape the paper kinda type and get peeved that every time I go to use it, I can't, as it's all dried up or something?! Would this save my frustrations and wallet? 😄

Thanks Op, have ordered this. Normally use the wider rolls but it’s great tape and well worth the price!

Each Roll 24mm x 55m

When it said 3m I thought that's a bit short as my ceiling is 3m high
Heat added, not sure when i'll use it but i probably will!
AMAZING PRICE!

IMO this is because (whatever) tape you use, you need to make sure you press down your edges firmly and also not lay the paint on too much along the tape edge.

I think that some tapes are just better at coping with this.
IME 3M products are usually worth the money. They are often the original designers of many such products!

I used this tape for the first time recently after using unbranded masking tape forever, it’s really good.

For which a wallpaper seam roller would be brilliant

I watched a rather exciting YouTube video comparing the tapes and frog was by far the best, i think this tape was involved and was decent just not as good. It was a US video though with their versions of the tapes but I’d be surprised if there were major differences.
I do not comment much on this site but in my opinion this tape is by far the best if it is similar as the duck one they were selling in poundland some time ago for £2. amazon.co.uk/Duc…UFG Compared to frog and the paper type it is brilliant. Do not hesitate at this price as in my opinion it outperforms any thing out there. Great find op.
Always use Tesa tapes, expensive but the best. This is good gear though.

A Youtube channel that I watch, Mustie1, recommends microwaving dried out masking tape for a few seconds to refresh it.
Is it 55m long or 3m??
Went for it after all...

Ahhhh I think I just ditched my last dried out one... But if I haven't. Its totally worth a try and I'd come back here and say the results

This is way too thin, wider would be much better.

3M is the brand. 55m is the length of the roll.

Hi

At Yankee Bundles, we always believe in honesty being the best policy.

We've hit a problem with your latest order. Unfortunately, due to a software error, our website allocated more stock to this deal than we had available. We didn't pick up on this error until we came to pack your order today, when we realised we didn't have enough stock to cover it.

Where we're at now is that we are desperately trying to source more of this stock - we should know either way within the next 48 hours.

If you're happy to hang on then you don't need to do anything, we will hopefully be able to dispatch your order out to you in the next few days.

If you'd rather cancel then this isn't a problem, just reply to this email and we will refund and cancel your order.

We're so sorry for the mess-up, but we hope you understand. We would rather be open with you than keep you waiting wondering where your tape is!

Thank you for reading this and for your custom,

Regards

The very same. Think i'll wait for the sake of those clean edges. Normal masking tape makes a real mess of sealant.

Aye, me too. It's been a while and nothing further. Might have to get a refund.
