Thank you, great for camping and when my boy decides to drink all the milk on one of his midnight raids

Glad to be of help. thanks for voting hot

Does it taste the same as fresh?

I would say it has a creamier taste; as it is processed differently. I keep it for emergencies when my fresh milk runs out. My mum likes it in her coffee but not tea. I'm not bothered.

Excellent for home-made yogurt

Is it just semi?
Go for skim normally, prefer these over the cheap ones as they have a sealable (ish) cap.

Ohhh is the full fat one not on offer, i buy that one for my daughter.

Would be hot if this were for whole milk, but they don't even produce them in 6 packs. That's how well the public have been conditioned into thinking "low-fat" is good for them. You can keep your milk flavoured water

Very helpful, thanks OP.

thanks, we are going to Mauritius at Easter, so difficult, first holiday with the kids and I'm taking a suitcase full of food as my kids are so fussy!!! they are used to milk when they get up and before they go to sleep. Someone suggested powdered milk, but even I don't like the sound of that!

They do! But they're not on offer - £4.80 for a 6-pack of 1L Full-cream UHT Milk. If I'm drinking UHT Milk, I prefer the Skimmed or Semi-Skimmed.

Dont quote me on this but I'm pretty sure you will be able to buy milk in Mauritius oO

Well, this post inspired me to do my first Tesco online shop in ages – I tried the first timer's code -£15 off a £60- shop and guess what? – It worked! Hopefully it will work for some of you too XX3FP6. I have used other codes before, so not a first timer.

Still on the shelf at £4.80 in Mansfield.

Got today, thanks OP
They didnt have it on an offer label like other stuff though (red and yellow), it was just the standard price label as if it was normal price. Good job I knew from this post and was looking for that particular product, oherwise I wouldn't have seen it

It scans through at £2.50 - i bought a pack earlier today at Mansfield . I would have bought 2 packs if i was confident it was going to scan at £2.50
I was down to my last 2 cartons from the last time it was at £2.50

ALL of the long life milks go through same process.
ALL fat is removed then added back at end of treatment process to meet exact amount required based on type they want it to be, skimmed/semi/full fat.
Cartons bought now should have a use by date of Sept 2014
Stock up now and get used to the taste.
