Cheers.

Very good price, was looking yesterday for a bike storage shed, that'll do instead.

I got the 10x10 version of this. It's a cracking shed when it's up but make sure your screwdriver is charged (and don't even think of using a manual screwdriver or you'll end up with arms like Popeye!)

It needs 2 people and a full day to put up and the ground must be perfectly flat otherwise the thousand screw holes will not line up properly.

I'd already posted the Argos metal shed deals a few days ago..

Argos Metal Shed Deals, eg 8x4, 6x4

..but nobody seemed to like them? don't know why.

Missed it but would've voted hot if i'd seen it (have done anyway).

These are pants. They will rust after a year or so and you will get condensation on the roof inide. This will make everything damp and rot the floor. Get a plastic one or go authentic with a wooden shed!!

Galvanised steel is unlikely to rust in a year or so. Plastic will still cause condenstaion. You're comments are I am afraid inaccurate.

Rust? It's galvanised! And how will the floor rot? My floor is concrete (besides which, these don't come with a floor - you have to lay your own base).

Mines been up a couple of years now and it's still like new.

really a good one.. thanks!

Would've prob voted cold on this as ' * Please note item 7054918 has previously been on sale at £112.29.'

However with the extra discount it means this is voted hot!

I had one and it did rust pretty quick, its like a mechano shed, very flimsy, I wouldn't buy another one.

Now I can afford to move out woo

We have a bigger version of this shed (8' x 6') and it is great! Been up five years and no sign of rust whatsoever. Only sign of wear it that is slightly faded from the sun but that's no big deal.
Would recommend this - great price too

Mine`s all rusted after about 2 years and very flimsy ... not worth the money imo.

Make sure you bolt them down as mine got torn apart in high winds and ended up 2 door down.

got one of these two yeats back, still going good...but you need is properly flooring for it, i got the concrete flooring done for it in the garden before screwing the shed down. works nicely and no water dripping problem. But in winter there in condensation....

I've got this exact shed and had it about 3 years and it doesn't rust, I've never suffered with condensation either, but that could be my dodgy diy as there are some big gaps between it and the wonky flags it's screwed down on. Pain in the bum to put together though, took me about 8 hours and some of the instructions are completely unfathomable as the pics don't match the parts you've got (made in the good old US of A) and there are an AWFUL LOT of pieces. It's not exactly high security either; paper thin walls and plastic padlock loops, so don't put anything expensive in it.

Hi, thanks for posting.
As this is home delivery only and that delivery is £8.95, then I have edited the stated price to £110.94 and edited the title to include (+delivery of £8.95).
Best Regards, Chesso

So you are saving around a tenner - not hot from me I'm afraid - typical Argos up the price to drop it a month or so later and claim a great dea

Ten pound cheaper not hot?

Hahahaha.

Neighbour has this shed, and it has began to rust after just over a year.

Tempted by this, but what does it mean when it says "anchor kit/base not included"? Where do I get an anchor kit and base from...?

Agreed, on our concrete base, 3 years later its like new. It was just a swine to put up!

I've heard these are a nightmare to put up (read the reviews) - I'm trying to get an Absco shed - apparently easy to erect etc

Good price though.

It's not a nightmare. It's very simple, just time consuming. A lot of people just a) expect things to be done for them, b) have no patience or c) can't follow instructions.

A couple of mates, a few cans & bacon butties and a full day. Well, that's how I did it :-)

there ok sheds but not the best. they will do you if your not fussy about your surroundings. or are skint and just need a shed. but if you have a little more money then go for a plastic or wood shed as they look so much better and compliment the garden rather than make it look ugly.

Had one of these sheds before. Took 2 of us a whole day to put it up and my hands were cut to shreds as they sides are so sharp.

Sides used to blow in the wind and everything inside was soaking wet because of the condensation.

Luckily a tree fell on top of it and smashed it to bits. Needless to say I bought a wooden shed as its replacement.

I think there must be different kinds of sheds being talked about here. The sides on mine are as solid as a rock, there is zero condensation and it held my weight on the roof/sides when I was putting screws in. Mine was made by Yardmaster.

Opinions seems split on the Argos reviews too - some say it's flimsy, most say it's sturdy. I think a lot of it has to do with how well it's put together.

Mine was bought from Argos. It did rust come and have alook if you dont believe me and condensation is an issue. I suppose it depends what company make it. The one I bought must have been a right bunch of cowboys. Thw whole reason I bought it was for low maintance and that it wouldnt rust.
Looking at the comments it looks like some rust some dont. Is it really worth the risk. Go Plastic i say its the future!!!

I got one these - damaged my back when helping to get it of the delivery truck - far too much weight in one package. A **** to assemble and time consuming. Were gloves if you build one cos everythings designed to cut you to ribbons. No rust after 4 years but everthing inside gets wet due to condensation and also in winter I get ice on the inside which will of course thaw and soak the contents. No good for putting anything in that must keep dry. It is however a big shed for the money when compared to wood.
