Was £8 now £6

Shows as £8 but £2 is deducted during checkout.

Ideal for home brewing small batches and if you also dislike Grolsch (which is another way of getting 450ml bottles @ £10 for 6 but you get to drink the contents if fizzy pop is your thing)

Haha, reminds me of the recipe the sisters made on Waltons Mt.

Works out better if you get them full of Grolch.

I did mention grolsch if you even read it. And that only applies if you want green bottles and have the time to drink 5.4 litres of chemical ridden fizzy muck.

Grolsch smaller 450ml bottles are £20 for 12 at tesco until tuesday then the cheapest is £23.76 from Asda for 12 as they will be full price everywhere

Or you could get one of these with 100 caps for around £3 and save yourself a lot on bottles by using old beer ones.

That's £30 saved on just one batch of 40-pint homebrew..

If you want empty bottles for homebrew, try popping along to a CAMRA festival when they're dismantling afterwards....I got 300 on one occasion last year, just for asking.

there's 25% off all homebrewing stuff at wilko. hth.

You can also ask your friendly bartender to keep empty bottles in a box for you instead of taking to the bin, did it myself.

It said 1 left, I ordered it.

These bottles are great for all sorts of things, thanks OP

Confirmed this is now OOS

Sun strike affects beer in clear AND green bottles. Better to stick to brown glass.

Better deal here at the range, 12 bottles for £10.00 double your bottles for only £4 more. Bought some in Southampton Store Quality is on par with Wilko.

Most people don't keep beer in direct sunlight anyway, and with white ones it's easier to avoid pouring yeast sediment into a glass.

They had some in Huddersfield the other day.............no use to anyone but West Yorkies but shows they are in stores

I've been using these plastic bottles for a while now - perfectly good enough.

http://www.home-brew-online.com/equipment-c40/bottles-c43/bottles-pet-plastic-500ml-basic-p1129

40 for less than £10.

I now have 120 of them and use them for beers/ciders. Just give them a rinse once you've poured out the contents then sterilise before use etc.

Plastic?? You hereitic

Works out cheaper per litre if you're planning to drink more anyway.

Have five/six of those already they work a treat, and I see the price has gone down also. So six for £10.50 isn't bad.
