Yes me too! Good find OP!

This should do nicely to go towards BFBC2: Vietnam (and any thing else on PSN for that matter!)

I was umming and ahhing about getting this, in the end ordered 3(went with nectar points instead of quidco). I'm trying to decide if psn plus is worth it, how much will it be with this 'deal'(£39.99 will come out of the wallet but how much in 'real' money due to the saving)?

well £40 = 2/3 of £60 so
2/3 of £45 = £30 in real money

/\ /\ /\
Basically a 25% saving so you`ll pay around 30 squid for psn plus

FYI:
Order of 3 x "PSN Live Card 20.00" placed: 29/08/2010 23:20

"Delivery will normally take between 3 to 5 working days, but can sometimes take a little longer due to postal delays. Please allow 10 full working days before notifying us of any delays in arrival."

QuidCo.com reports "Expected Cashback" (on transaction value of £45.84) of £1.83.

I wouldn't bother with PSN Plus, the stuff they give you is pretty old (so far Wipeout HD, and Zen Pinball), and it doesn't change very often - seems like every 2 months.

The discounts they give you are also on old stuff, and not much of a discount either.

zavvi have the wrong item tome a few times. they might send a £30 PSN credit if I order this

It changes every month, its definatly worth it for £40 a year with 12 months of free stuff. i agree the first two month haven't been the best ...but I would suggest you join in September as PS+ members are getting the full season of the new Sam & Max for free (£20 worth)....unless ofcourse this type of game isn't your thing.

I got the dispatch email as well, didn't think they'd be dispatching till tomorrow due to bank holiday.

how long do you have to redeem(sp?) the 'vouchers'? I'm off on holiday from 10th September - 30th September, so if it doesn't arrive before leave wouldn't be able to do it till I get back.

RickyL7 from what I understand it's every month that the content changes for psn plus, it's Sam & max season 3 next month(well it starts from 1st September so only 3days to go).

forgot to say in my previous post that I was thinking about ordering a £50 psn 'card'(little under £45), from one of the sites that emails you the code not the card. Guess it's a good thing I didn't, get £10 more for ~£1 more.

I got a psp go from shopto last week, came with a £20 psn card so I currently have ~£27 on my psn at the moment. once I get the £60 what should I spend them on?

Thanks for this - can't see PSN being cheaper than 25% off.

The box says they expire 12 months after purchase. I take it that when you activate it on your PSN account it stays there indefinitely though?

Yes; but it is not refundable once applied to your PlayStation Network Wallet funds account.

Also, the smallest financial value you can add to your PlayStation Network Wallet funds is £5.

So, if you wanted to purchase something for, say, £6.19, & you had £6.18 in your account, you would have to add £5 to bring your total to £11.18 before the £6.19 could be used.

BFN,

You lose everything that was free except LBP I think...so examples would be Zen Pinball, Sam & Max full season etc.

Anything you got via PS+ at a reduced cost you would keep because you actually paid something for it .

You don't get to keep any games you get free on PS+ if you stop subscribing, the downloads stop working. That's enough for me to not subscribe.

I know what you mean, but unless something drastically goes wrong with the content that PS+ members are currently getting every month...it's definatly worth continuing with your subscription which enables you to keep everything you have.

cant you just use your bank card to pay the difference? when i used to buy games for like £5.99 i didnt have to add £10 to my account id just pay the £5.99

oh and yes the ps+ is worth it, my brother has it so i get everything he downloads for free via gamesharing, cant wait for S+M in a few days, well worth the £40 per year in my opinion. i just wish i could have the plus symbol next to my name, but for £40 that isnt worth it.

That's no good for people that don't want to link a bank card to a PS3 account/console.
Which is one of the main reasons they buy network cards.

No, there is a minimum transaction amount of £5, so even if you only need 1p, you need to add £5 to your account and have £4.99 left over. It's a minimum of £5, not multiples.

Prices on the PSn cards have gone up by £1 now so maybe mark expired?

the code is still working, it's £48.84 instead of £45.84.

if I do get psn plus, can I just 'buy' the 4 free games so they're in my download list or do I have to download them before 1st october(for the 1st september - 30th september)?

as I said I'm off on holiday from 10 september - 30 september, if the vouchers arrive by this friday/next monday then I'd be able to add the £60 to my wallet and upgrade to psn plus. not sure if I'd be able to download all 4 games before the 10th as I still have 6 of the free games from the 10free games for the pspgo to download.

You have to download anything before the next month stuff is put up onto the store or you lose access to it. Basically Zen Pinball will only be availible for free for PS+ members for a few more days or a week until its updated to September's content of Sam & Max full season for free. I think the stuff will remain in your download list only when you have clicked it intially once as a PS+ member. I'm waiting to see if this is true...so just incase I downloaded everything that was free even though I'm not fussed about some of, and will wait to see if it disappears from the download list...but im 99% sure it wont as you decided to grab it as aPS+ member for that month so it should remain in your download list until your subscription expires...if ever.
