60% off any Sky+ Bundle for 12 months for existing 'leaving' customers and possibly bill credit £35.60 pm @ Sky.com

I thought some people may benefit from knowing the latest 'known' deal for existing customers of Sky who have placed a cancellation on their account. Some people have been able to get 75% off but I've only experienced this when actually having left and services no longer active.

I've agreed to the following for £35.60 per month and £50 bill credit via their chat service:

Sky + HD Complete bundle which also includes Box sets with sports and cinema and Sky sports HD pack....usually £80 per month and discounted by £44.40 as the HD pack can't be discounted automatically.

Hopefully this will benefit those who are on the fence about being able to get a better deal. For those who think this is account specific,I have done this for three friends. Hope this helps people

Hi jwhitbread
Is this a 12 or 18 month contract?

I agreed to no contract so can cancel when I like providing I give 31 days notice, but it is a 12 month discount period as per T&Cs
i got same deal today, but on 18 month deal. I prefer longer deal, no intention of cancelling anytime soon, so don't have to go through the hassle of renegotiating after 12 months
I was offered the below last month. 12 Months, Sky+ HD. No phone or BB (had neither anyhow from Sky).

I just accepted the 60% offer too. While I was on the chat I was also offered half price line rental and BB. Now paying under £28 for variety, line rental and BB.
as a new customer I got 61 quid for everything including phone, briadband and a second box upstairs. im pretty happy with that
Sky offered me free use of sky+ with my old sky box as a freesat box. Even free wasn't enough for me to take up the offer, they always have an angle to try and trick some money out of you.
How long did you have left i want to upgrade to SKY Q contact runs out in june on half price deal right now
Hi I have just taken 60% off tv ( boxer bundle), 50% off broadband and line rental and 50 quid credit.

I am away to upgrade to sky q today via phone as for some reason won't let me online. However via chat I was told it be just £12 extra due to me taking sky q mini and all my existing offers will be moved to sky q.

The box is 2tb and cost £100 or £50 for 1 2tb but I am going with 2tb as it more future proof.

I have yet to manage to get them to reduce the install cost.
don't you have to give box back when your contract is up
Anyone know what happens to all your recordings once you have fully cancelled? Do you get them back once you sign back up?

Once you have cancelled and you have been officially 'turned off', you will lose the Sky+ functionality so will not be able to access your recordings. They will remain on the box and if you were to sign up in the future, providing you used the very same box, you would be able to access your recordings once again...depending on your package of course!

...if they gave you a new box or a SkyQ box then your recordings would be lost!
I've always thought losing access to your recordings is wrong, as I paid for the right to make them at the time, and should still have playback access rather than nothing at all. Even the free channel recordings having access would be something.
Managed to negotiate full TV package, 2 multiroom subscriptions, Sky Go Extra (this is usually free anyway I think) and £50 credit at £44 per month for the year.

Happy enough with that!
Stupid question but what do you say when you start the chat? That you want to come back or if they have any offers to consider coming back? Thank you in advance.
Thanks for the heads up. My recent package deal expired so I cancelled as you advised, I was paying £83 p/m.
I've just managed, via the Sky Web Chat, to get the full package of Sky TV, Sports & Cinema, HD and Multi room, Fibre BB and Sky Talk for £67 (£130 full price) plus a £20 credit

If you've already left, you would be best saying you've received a leaflet with an offer you're interested in and ask if they would be able to help you obtain that deal. Then lead with the highest discount which people quote around 75% and see where it all goes from there really. Good luck!

75% is old news - 60% is the max offer now on TV
I believe they still offer 75% discount but only for the basic TV package.
Had an invite for 60% off any pack (excluding Sports HD or multiroom) while in my notice period, but thanks to this post I also got the £50 credit through chat.

They also offered me half price unlimited fibre and line rental if I stayed, but I'm sticking with the BT deal I'm moving to (mainly because of getting BT Sport)
Just wanted to thank you. Just saved my dad £480 saving over the year
Hi, my sky account is being deactivated tomorrow. They have offered me the 60% off deal, if I let them deactivate it, and wait a few days, will I get the 75% off offer, or should I just take the 60% one today?

Depends....If you want to go without Sky and hope they offer 75% then go for it, but there's never any guarantee you'll be offered it...although it's likely at some point they would. Depends what 60% off is for you in terms of price and whether you are willing to pay for it
So what's the latest, folks? I'm 1 week away from disconnect day. We have TV box sets, fibre bb and phone with Sky. The only thing I've been offered is almost 60% off TV for 18 month contract and a £10 FEE for the privilege! Has anyone managed to get a discount on fibre and/or phone?

Hi,

Any existing sky tv customer been able to get the sky Q upgrade installation costs down to 20 pounds which they offer for new customer?
Thanks
Best they would offer me the other day was 40% off the whole package, and very little of anything off Sky Q. Will wait and see now if 60% is forthcoming.
