Edited the title
Dimensions say 145cm, I thought a king mattress was 150cm in itself?

How weird, yet in the size drop down it has it as King 5FT which is 152.4CM.

Baffling how a major site like M&S could make that mistake, doubt they’ve made the bed frame smaller than the mattress’s they sell.
Looks like the cheapest piece of s*** ever seen
Be careful with the free assembly claim. The fitters can refuse to assemble if they think the room is too small for them to work in. This happened to me with a wardrobe. I suggested assembling it in bigger room & moving finished item but they refused this also. T&Cs state this will be classed as a cancelled order & incur a charge. In the end we had to assemble it ourselves, in the "small"room with no problems. Probably says more about M&S contractors than anything else.

Still cheaper than a bed frame from DFS. Suits a purpose at this price. If you need a bed frame for under a £100.

I ordered some wardrobes for our box room, they managed to assemble it all in the room by keeping the pieces in the hall and then move them in as and when they needed them.

The only thing I’m worried about is the £25 removal fee that I paid, the lady that arranged the delivery said that the bed frame had to be dismantled before they could take it away. Not sure how to do that. Do I just get a hammer and knock all the sides out?

The concern isn't that they've made a bed frame smaller than the mattress it's for - the concern is that you'll order and receive a double bed, not a king. Won't be ordering unless clarified. Maybe i'll ring up later...

Cool, will go on Amazon to order some.

They’ve arrived, really nice and fit the king size mattress perfectly. The bed actually takes up less space than the previous ones.

Delivered and assembled really quickly, only ordered last week.

The measurements are correct, it’s just the way it’s designed to be compact at the base of the legs but fits the king mattress above.

What so its 150cm at the top and the legs go inwards?

Hard to explain as it looks the opposite of that, but it definitely fits the king size mattress.
