1 month sim only. It looks like its not available to new customers any more I signed up after seeing it on here. Ill try and find the original post from here..

Here it is, looks like it was only a limited offer sorry

hotukdeals.com/dea…987

But it might come up again you never know... and existing customers can keep it forever (except its a bit more now since VAT rise)

Is this only available in store and are they only in the bigger stores?

please be warned ive got pay monthy £10 sim , they have taken £42.62 for going over the 500 min, no warning that i had gone over the 500 min. until the evening befor they restart the mins by blocking my out going calls and sending a text . i phoned them and moaned about it with out only joy, i asked them to clamp it so it cant happen again. i was told that they wont clamp a £10 pay monthy sim. so please be warned and keep a check on your usage as i dont want it happening to other people

Have you ever considered taking a little bit of responsibility for your own actions?

Unless you are completely stupid it can't have been that much of a surprise that you had gone way over the allocated minutes.

That deal is a 12 month commitment, the Tesco deal is 30 days.

It is hard to keep track and they usually provide no way of knowing, that's why I only go for PAYGO SIMS now which give free minutes texts and web from the top-up balance and then stops working when you run out, along with multiple warnings and SMS begging you to top up.

You can just log on into your account and it will show you exactly how many mins, texts etc you have used and what you have remaining.

I'm on Tesco Mobile and it's pretty damn easy to check how much you've used!

or just use the built in timers/counters on your phone to keep track. It is 2011 after all...

Been on this deal for a few months now and its great. customer services are always easy to contact and pickup within 10 seconds.

Works fine on my iphone 3gs

I pay £10.21 though

Any phone will have settings to let you keep track anyhow..gotta be a bit dim to go over by that much I reckon

Just to be clear is this a 12 month or 1 month deal?

What network does Tesco use? Is the 3G coverage good?

Going to keep my Desire but contract ends in a month. Thinking of getting the 300 minutes 3 deal which works out about £70 for the year after Quidco but not 100% sure about being tied down to 12 more months

This is a 12 month deal and Tesco carry the O2 network.
Would like to know when this deal expires as I want the deal myself but my nearest Tesco with a mobile shop is quite a drive away. Also is it a nationwide deal?
I've just been offered the most pathetic deal with O2 after 7 years so I've handed in my 30 day notice.

Was in my car the other day, police pulled me over for doing 60 in a 30 zone. Just thought i would let people know in case it happens to them, asked them to put a speed re-stricter on my car so it would not happen again.

Speaking of taking control of ones actions, isn't it time you grew out of insulting people like that?

hope you lost your licence, you could have killed someone doing 60 in what was probably a residential area.

or perhaps your car doesn't display the speed in which case you should definitely ask the car manufacturer to put the speed on the dashboard somewhere.

not sure what relevance this has to tescos charging you high prices if you go over your monthly free minutes tho.

It's really annoying when that happens though, because there's just no way of knowing how fast you're going. The car companies should really do something about that.

I think you'll find he said responsibility, not control. And I'm sure he takes full responsibility for his insult.

Has anyone managed to get this deal over the phone or online?

Does anyone here use the non-iPhone tariff (which seems to be £5/month cheaper) with an iPhone?

I do hope you're being either sarcastic...or are you a little dim as well as some of the others on here...? No offence !!

It will work fine with iPhones. The one issue you may have is that you will probably be supplied with a standard sized sim, so if you own an iPhone 4 you will need to cut it down to micro-sim size. Easily done with a pair of scissors and a website guide though

This deserves more heat. Great deal, I would have snapped this up had I not be in contract.

Nice one!

maybe i am being a little dim, but i dont see how i am being dim. someone complained that tesco charged for over-allowance minutes and do not provide any warning or a service to prevent you spending too much. that poster was insulted by a few people for no reason, whereas I think it is a valid point.

to compare it to being fined for speeding which is
1. an offence
2. dangerous
3. not a good analogy because you can in fact always see what speed you are doing

is, imo, as you put it, "dim"

Check out GiffGaff. Ok, not as many inclusive minutes on their £10 goodybag , but unlimited internet - and PAYG - so no chance of any surprise bills.

Thanks for the info, think I will stick with Three. Cheaper with quicdo and GiffGaff are blatently going to put up their internet costs as soon as they have enough users.

Unlimited data = fair usage policy of 500 MB Which is really not unlimited.
